Pizza Express - Menu

We had an excellent night at the restaurant. Our waitress, Justina, was outstanding - very attentive and professional. The food was superb as always, and the service was quick and perfect. Thank you!

After not dining out for almost 18 months, I decided it was time to revisit P.E. The restaurant has been renovated since our last visit (pre-pandemic!). It wasn't too crowded tonight, and we were promptly seated, had our orders taken, and our food arrived promptly with the usual great quality.

My mother and I went for tea mid week and received the most atrocious customer service, I was very upset with the lack of respect the server showed my mother and the ignorance in the bringing of the food and drink. We had lunch Saturday 5/2/22. At first it seemed o.k. .Our starters came quickly, but not all together as the childrens' dishes were returned to the kitchen. Our main courses took ages to arrive. My pizza could not be cut with the pizza cutter.The base was over cooked. Even paying the bill took ages while the manager cleared the table. This was disappointing as we had good service on a previous visit.

I make no apology for copying my review from 5 years ago. Our meal was delivered to their usual standards, supported by excellent service despite having a busy restaurant. Great atmosphere in the restaurant! The quality of food and its presentation is never in doubt at this restaurant , I rate it as the best one we have visited in the PXpress chain. Nuria was our server and did a great job, 5* service !

Thank you to Manoor whom looked after my friend and daughter this afternoon (4pm) . Manoor was very polite and attentive and due to few requests made suggestions and changes for us . Really appreciated . Nothing was too much trouble . As always great food at Pizza express Hale so Thankyou to the kitchen team . My daughter loves the activity sheet too keeps her busy . Went Sat 3 10, as a family of 6 we were ushered to our table, those that had to wear masks did so. Many who came in after us did not but that is up to themPlonked down and left, no paper menu, no explanation as to the app online manner of ordering nor asking us if we had the app We waited for 15 mins for a drinks order. Food was fine as a chain should be. Second drinks order was made, another 10 mins wait was met with a curt response.I know times are difficult but we've had many great family meals out here over many years but this was really poor from the front desk and we will not be rushing back and will support the independents.

Wow! Today has been absolutely perfect! Not having Pizza Express since March was difficult, but today definitely made it worth the wait. The measures that Hale Pizza Express has implemented will make everyone feel comfortable. The additional table at each table provides space for drinks and food to be placed down for your own party to collect, which is a great idea! We traveled over 30 miles for our dough balls and pizza today as it was the closest one open, and we will definitely be coming back to this branch. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Justina, our waitress. We can't wait to return! Kudos to the entire team, keep up the good work and hopefully things will be back...

My Mum, our friend and I entered Pizza Express to encounter a lovely buzzing atmosphere. We sat at a spacious table in the centre of the room and were greeted by Joanne, a WONDERFUL server who absolutely made our night. Throughout the entire meal she was polite and efficient, yet also laughing and joking with us she really put a smile on our faces. Joanne politely waited a good while to take our orders, as she noticed that we were old friends in need of a long overdue catch up and were therefore in no rush.
