"Rode the loop between Madrid and Escorial. We needed a place to load up on carbs for lunch and came across this restaurant. Weather was quite cool so outdoor patio wasn't set up. When we enquired inside the owner was happy to set up a table for us outside. I had the carbonara and my friend had the spaghetti with meatballs. The pasta was home made and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend this place and the owner is very friendly and accommodating."

Ha sido sin duda el descubrimiento del año. Es un local súper acogedor y tranquilo, con una comida, que además de ser exquisita, se nota muchísimo que es casera al 100%. Por si fuera poco, el trato del personal ha sido de 10 (y encima ponen buena música). Es de esos sitios que merece la pena recomendar a todo el mundo y visitar en cuanto se pueda

I am lucky enough to live close to this gem, and everytime we go it is perfect. Alfonso is an incredible host and does alot to ensure you are taken care of. Patricia the chef has always made us amazing dishes, with flavours and presentation yet at great prices. Try the gourmet crepe, the croquetas, the pasta's..much more on the menu, all fantastic! Nice artesana beers also served super cold.
