"Booked lunch for a birthday meal at 12 o'clock, was told to go into the bar where we could get drinks beforehand. No bartender to greet us, floors hadn't been cleaned and empty cups and glasses still on the bar from the night before. When we went into the restaurant at around 12:20 the gentleman from the bar area began serving us more drinks, during this time there were two young waitresses also in attendance who didn't seem to be doing much. After a long wait we eventually gave our food order to the young waiter and our starters only came out at around 13:30! Mains came out at around 14:30 which for a 12 o'clock booking is madness especially as we were the only table in the restaurant! The young waitresses who brought out the main courses didn't even know what some of the dishes were called and couldn't tell the difference between a chicken burger and a wagyu burger! This is bad enough but there were only six main courses on the lunch menu to memorize. I had the wagyu burger which was far too small for the bun and was of the same standard as a wetherspoons burger and for £16.00 completely overpriced! The furniture needs replacing as all the original chairs and tables back from 2005 when it was known as The Ivory Rooms ares till being used, really sad to see a place that used to have great food and service turn into this. In short, this is pub food with restaurant prices and some of the staff need more training!"

With the reintroduction of themed steak night we were extremely pleased with the quality of the food, value for money and good service. Would recommend.

Mothers day was a real treat, restaurant was lovely with a roast to die for. Service was good albeit a very busy day. I can thoroughly recommend the food and friendly staff. A singer, free glass prosecco and a lovy balloon made it even better, well done to the chefs don't know how you do it. View menu

Just had Sunday lunch with the family and I have to say food was excellent. It was fairly quiet which is surprising considering the quality of the food and it’s not expensive for what you get. This is our second visit and both times have been great. Waitresses were also very good and helpful.

My husband and myself had sunday lunch here and can honestly say its one of the best with tender meat, fresh perfectly cooked veg so nicely put together on the plate with request of exra gravy which actually tasted of meat juices rather than the usual slop you get most other places. All topped off with a big fat yorkshire pudding (not just for roast beef) melt in the mouth pecan pie and bannana ice cream was delicious. Waitress attentive and charming...we will be back!

Get in quick ! After the stress of covid, Reids re opened after a refit and it was well worth the wait...trouble is, its closing for good some time next year.. We went for a Sunday lunch and were surprised to find how quiet it was considering the food was delicious, fresh, hot, plentiful and well served... we had the roast sirloin, roast potatoes, veg and the biggest Yorkshire pudding I've ever seen ! The gravy was delicious, obviously made with the beef juice... Rounded off with delicious lemon tart served with a zingy raspberry sorbet. Really good food served by good staff... View menu

We went to Reids today and it was the first time since it re opened. What a lovely lunch we had! The roast was amazing! So tasty and fresh and plentiful. Roast potatoes were so delicious and crunchy! The service was second to none. Kerry (who had only been there for 2 days! was the best! She was so attentive and helpful. My Dad is blind and she was so aware of his disability! When she put drinks and food in front of him, she told him exactly where they were placed so it was easy for him to find. This to me is a star quality. Most people don't go this extra mile with him, but she made him feel so included and really helped him to enjoy the delicious food and the whole experience! Luckily my p...

The venue looks amazing. But that's where the positives end. We were a group of 18 adults. As we turned up we were asked to go to the main bar. £3 for a large coke. £7.50 for a large house wine. As we were shown to our table we were told we had to sit at 2 different tables when we were supposed to all be sat at one. We were told that as we were ordering our drinks separately we had to leave the restaurant and buy them at the main bar as they only had 1 member of staff at the restaurant bar. The three course meal I had was Prawn cocktail. A handful of prawns on a plate over some lettuce and a hard piece of bread that was hard to bite in to. The whole dish had clearly been made earlier and kep...

"The Restaurant was a great find. Went there as a party of 3 for my birthday lunch treat today. The lunch menu has limited number of dishes compared to the evening one but are very well balanced. I have never seen kadhi chaval and channa jor garam on a uk restaurant menu, so well done for being so original. The restaurant is located nearest carpark 2, so best to park there. The restaurant decor has many traditional Rajisthani puppets hanging high above the restaurant entrance, nice touch. We ordered 3 starters (Street food) which we shared, they had the correct balance of sweet, hot and sour tastes, although I did compliment mine with additional tamrind, chilli and coriander sauces. We ordered different versions of the Thali. This was impressive indeed. The variety of items, presentation, flavour, temperature and amount of food served in the thali (the circular stinless steel plate) was perfection itself. Every dish had its own traditional Rajisthani unique flavour, could not fault it. Thank you Sohan for your personal courtesy you showed us, the table you had reserved for us, my birthday wishes and for having created a truely great, clean, restaurant with a memorable menu. This was amongst the very best food I have ever had, a great birthday feast. It was a true gastronomic delight for my tastebuds. The restaurant is now firmly on my agenda, a great find indeed.
