"This is a nice little place near the main train station in KL. The menu is limited to chicken soup, half roasted chicken, chicken breast salad, fries and cole slaw. The place is decorated with chickens on the window ledges and hanging from the wall. There is out door seating and a small dining area. You can call ahead to pu but they do not deliver. The chicken can be with 4 levels of spice from mild to "hot as hell". We usually get the chicken "sehr scharf" or very hot. The "hot as hell" is hard for us to handle and only ordered once. I am still sweating just thinking about the heat. A meal is only 8.95 euros and the huge salad with chicken breast is 8.15 euros. They have a frequent meal ticket where you order 5 or 6 and get the next meal free. This is a family oriented place where kids are given crayons and place mats to color. One of our favorite restaurants in Ktown."

Good food but I guess I am not accustomed to chicken seasoned in this style. Service was average. Plenty of parking which is unusual for the area. View menu

Fest chicken all year around here. Can order it mild to spicy. Coleslaw and fries come with. They also serve different sauces. I thought it was a nice family meal. If I recall service wasn't the best but they were friendly!

I loved the food from a'pollo !! Yes it is only chicken that they serve but it is so yummy you don't need anything else. Not too expensive either and they have a nice seating area outside too. If you love chicken you HAVE to come here!

Not only do the owners and staff make you feel like family, but the food is fantastic! Ask for a stamp on your stamp card when you get a half chicken! When you fill up your card you get one FREE! This a great place to hang out before a Fussball match or bring colleagues and friends. Great soup, salad, coleslaw, fries and, of course, chicken! We LOVE this place!

Visited there about 10 years ago, but forgot why we'd not gone back. Our memory is refreshed and will not go back again. Chicken was Way over done - even the bone was dried out!! As were all the others in proximity to our table. But if you're of the persuasion of cook 'until juices run clear', this is the place for you - there's no juice at all. Money is better spent elsewhere.

"Holiday, nice weather and still what to do in Kaiserslautern. We planned our start in Kaiserslautern with a light lunch. We visited Ayame for the first time 3 years ago. It is located in the former JVA Kaiserslautern, which was converted a few years ago into the Hotel Alcatraz. A Japanese restaurant fits well here, because the Japanese garden borders directly on the building. We have free parking in the courtyard. Schlichter hotel entrance, only hidden hints at the restaurant The way to the small restaurant leads past the reception. At 13.45 we entered the small restaurant with few seats and hoped to have a seat. Open until 14.00. A long-term construction site on the way to Kaiserslautern forced us to a rather large detour. We were the only guests, were warmly welcomed by a young man. Our question whether we get anything else to eat was kindly hunted. So we took a seat in the small, Japanese-style dining room and got the menu. Optic hasn't changed much since our last visit. Everything is clean and well maintained, bare tables. Daylight only illuminates the room. Unfortunately, you can't look outside. . The menu surprised me. She was partly handwritten and so completely different from my memory. Due to the advanced time, we decided very quickly: 2 large mineral water € 2.50 Foreway to crumb: Edamame € 4.20 For both of us: Sushi Menu € 13.80: Miso Soup, 3 Sushi Nigiri, 4 pieces Hosomaki, 8 pieces Uramaki Our drinks came immediately and well cooled. A good portion of the salted soybeans a little later. The hot beans in the bowl were a tasty crackling beforehand. The young man supported a (his? wife in the open kitchen. Here I was able to observe how the Misosuppe was tasted and the lady freshly prepared our sushi. That made all a very good impression. View into the open kitchen The steaming soup with tofu insert tasted mild and yet aromatic according to the Wakamealga. After a reasonable waiting period, our sushi were served. Very appealing. The 3 Nigiri classic with salmon, shrimp and tuna. The “Makis” pefect rolled, very good in taste. Overall a good portion, we were pleasantly tired. There was really nothing to complain about for the price. Sushi Menu The young man was very attentive, but to expect from two guests. In between the question whether everything tastes. Wasabi, soy sauce and ginger were handed down. In the case of numbers, the solution for the significantly different menu. The young Japanese couple only took over the restaurant a few weeks ago. This also explained that some processes have not yet been very routined. Stay to hope that the small restaurant will talk to friends of Japanese cuisine. Despite proximity to the city, it is very hidden in the building complex. Running is not coming over here and not every hotel guest likes Sushi. The toilets belong to Hotel Alcatraz, are modern, very clean and well maintained. Restaurant and toilets are walkable and without stairs."
