"this restaurant is really separate: the atmosphere and service are very friendly, warm and full of smiles. the décor is traditional: tiles, local pottery, almost a pub atmosphere. patrons are very demanding on the quality of the products and their preparation, which feels in the plate. Everything is homemade and follows the seasons (in May: 3 suggestions for dessert based on strawberries but also asparagus, fish. I especially recommend cream meats (the pretty veal with fries, spatzles or stirred potatoes, what fun! , frog thighs or steak tartare, cut to the knife and prepared in front of the client by marc, the owner of the tartare! between the entrance and the dish, a green salad, so well seasoned, slightly garlic, is served. the portions are very generous; for small stomachs, it is possible to share an entrance (serve in 2 half-doors. no reservation and it can be better because the deadline could be long. So, a little wait on the site but the aperiod quickly spends time (accredited by a velvet to the asparagus when I was there. in conclusion: a traditional restaurant as we do more details, where trade is held."

"We were very disappointed tonight. We were a table of five and were seated and served by the owner. We all started with the escargot which were a little too salty but otherwise wonderful. We had not been offered water but not a big deal. I just went to the bar myself and ordered it there. Looking back, it demonstrated what was to come. We were all anticipating a great meal but each found as we started our main course that each one was somewhat cold. My dinner partner mentioned this to the server/owner. He felt the plate, rushed off towards the kitchen and........never came back! From this point on, we were served by a fifteen year old boy...(we asked!!). I had the baeckeoffe which is by definition is out of the oven. How could this dish possibly get cold?? Two of the others had the magnet, cold! Needless to say duck is not at its best cold. I can understand a problem in the kitchen, but I cannot understand the owner's inability to at least acknowledge the problem and more so leaving a fifteen year old boy to deal with it. In all fairness to the young man, he did an admirable job of getting us through dinner despite a bit of weakness in some of his training.This is just not what we expect from this calibre of restaurant. Great food served cold is just lousy food! Hiding behind a young boy is unforgivable!"

"Restau thaïlandais avec beaucoup de choix Propose aussi des plats végétariens Nous avons goûté aux Nems et brochettes de poulet avec sauce cacahuète en entrées. Très bons.Le lassi de mangue était délicieux.Puis - nouilles de riz sautées à l'œuf -Pad thaï un crevettes-émincé de poitrine de canard aigre doux Tout cela est bon,mais dommage que cela soit un peu trop gras.Un gros bémol pour les crevettes relevées chili qui nageaient dans l'huile..Le restaurant stipule que tous les ingrédients sont frais et pauvres en calories; mais quel dommage qu'ils soient cuisinés avec beaucoup d'huile .Au niveau de l'organisation :on commande , on règle,puis on reçoit un numéro que va cibler le serveur;on s'installe à table.Et progressivement, on est servi.Un bémol : les plats n'arrivent pas en même temps pour tout le monde, ( on était à 7)Heureusement nous avions pris assez d'entrées pour tout le monde , les derniers servis ont pu patienter avec.Bref globalement, c'est correct pour une restauration rapide.Mon appréciation exacte serait entre bon et moyen compte tenu des bémols .On reviendra en sélectionnant les bons plats, pas gras.( maintenant qu'on connaît)"

"Very good restaurant nearby. The owner is very nice. The pizzas are good and the desserts too. The decoration is nice. The room is large and well decorated (with these big squashes everywhere) The prices are very reasonable (11 to 16th for large pizzas, 5.5€ for tiramisu). In addition, we could be afraid of the slowness of the service in view of the crowd when there are only 2 of them, yet the service is fast and what's more, they still take their time. Well done and keep it that way."

"Only about 20 minutes drive from Baden-Baden and we've come to very warm and cosy family owned reastaurant with amazing French cuisine. It was Saturday 6pm, all tables were busy, and we been told that they don't do reservations on the weekend. So we had to wait at the bar, whith very good drinks variety. Later place got even much more busy, people were waiting for the table in the queue with drinks even on stairs... AND IT IS WORTHY! The food is excellent, service as well, despite the crowd. The owner himself serves and control in the kitchen, maybe thats the secret of the success. p.s. Btw they have got menu in Russian language.Don't expect something fancy, the atmosphere is more like a home style, and they will make you to feel home..."
