"Stopped in here for dinner and had a great experience! Atmosphere: this restaurant is located in an old house and takes up the entire bottom floor. It is divided into several different areas with plenty of seating for a variety of different sized groups. It is decorated in a Mexican feel and is very comfortable. There is even a bar area for those not wishing to eat. I spoke with the owner (who is very personable and makes himself visible) and found that they also have live music every so often. Staff: the waitress was polite, professional, and attentive. She made us feel right at home and made sure we had anything we might need. Food: awesome! We had called ahead and placed an order for a single meal for our party. We had Mexican style Schnitzel (with melted cheese and jalapeños), fries, and sautéed zucchini. Prior to the main course, we had pancake soup, which was simply amazing! This is definitely a great restaurant with a wonderful staff! If you want to try something different that will taste good, this is it!"

Super ambience, even outside sitting completely cozy. Food and drinks came fast and were still very delicious. The price is true. I can absolutely recommend.

we had great luck getting a table because we had no reservation. the prices look high, but young, the teller are packed with really tasty eating, whether they choose Mexican burgers, burgers or German black steaks. very friendly staff and the restaurant was so. View menu

Avoid this place at all costs! Service was extremely rude, the food wasn't even close to Mexican, and last but not least, the owner tried to trick me into not filling in the tip/total lines on my receipt!! When I insisted, she pitched a **** and told me to leave. Beware...

Decent food at a nice venue with good pricing. We enjoyed our stay here and shared nachos as a starter. We came quite early on a Friday after noon. It takes a while but the food is ok. Nice Mexican dishes well made and good portions. Service is ok. Nice outdoor seating. Good for large groups.

One of the better restaurants in Cochem concerns quality, service and ambience. Not the usual through traffic, but the classic cozy restaurant experience. The selection is really brilliant and has something ready for everyone. Also fair for services. Absolute recommendation and praise for the operators! View menu

The best “Mexican Food” I have had in Germany. We walked past the restaurant earlier in the day. They advertised Kürbis (pumpkin) soup. Since it was chilly outside and they had propane lanterns, we returned to sit outside, with blankets, for some soup. The funny...thing was we never ordered soup once we saw the menu and plates of food being served. My partner’s head was literally steaming from the heat (spicy) from the meal ordered. Always a good sign the food was good and spicy as requested. The restaurant was busy but we had friendly and timely service.

We had to wait very long before anyone would take our order. Once ordered we had to wait forever to get served... and we were way past the rush hour. The food was ok_—! have seen better but also worse— and then As we had...some food left we asked politely if we could take it away as doggy bag, as we had seen a couple at a table nearby do. There the owner? At least she looked like the owner. As she was counting the money in the till answered no way. She refused to give any explanation, and said the waiter had been wrong in packing the left overs of the couple before us. I fear the poor lad will not be working there tomorrow... All in all a pretty poor experience. If you have the choice, go to...

"I read some reviews and heard from friends that this was thé place to eat in Cochem am Mosel, so we were very excited to find the restaurant near empty on our arrival as we had expected a wait. There was nobody to greet us as we walked in so after waiting politely waiting at the entrance for a bit we decided to seat ourselves awaiting the the host, waiter/waitress to come and greet us.It took another 5 minutes for the waitress to show up. As soon as she showed up she kindly requested us to move from the cozy booth-like spacious table to a smaller wooden table. Since the entire restaurant was empty, with the exception of one gentleman and it was about an hour before closing we did not see her point to keep the large table for non-guests so we kindly declined. The frauleins entire attitude changed and we could hear her screaming and yelling in the kitchen to the chef. She then proceeded to vent her grief to the other patron in German. One might imagine her surprise when I kindly informed her that I was able to understand her conversations ( I am Dutch so I understand the language ) and did not appreciate her treating us this way. Being used to American customer service I do lower my standards somewhat but to be told smack about a semi-professional in a small town restaurant in the middle of nowhere is not something I accept. We were looking forward to taste the local food but were quite frankly concerned that this would come with some non-sanitary condiments."
