We had an amazing carvery experience at this restaurant on Mother's Day. There was a choice of three meats, and our son enjoyed all of them. The meats were cooked perfectly, and there was a wonderful selection of vegetables and accompaniments. We all opted for the medium portion, which was excellent value. Overall, we would rate our experience a 10/10.

Not sure but get the impression the staff are fairly new here. We booked for Sunday Lunchtime and it seemed quieter than we expected. Really enjoyed our meals and would certainly visit again. After visiting Ashbourne, we decided to stop by the Rose Crown in Brailsford, a pub that we hadn't been to in a while. Although there were a few cars in the parking lot, the pub wasn't crowded for a Friday lunchtime so we were unsure of what to expect. I ordered the Fish and Chips and my wife had a Spicy Burger with fries. The fish was delicious, not overloaded with batter, making it the best Fish and Chips I've had in the last 10 years. My wife enjoyed her burger as well. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely visit this week, been in the past and didn't have a very good experience. Clearly a new team in and 100% better experience! Food was outstanding and the staff and service was first class! Loved the small touches of the seasonal decor, even the little Christmas corner advertising Christmas dining was well presented.
