"Good value for the money. A nice size portion of Spareribs serviced with fries and a side of cold slaw. The ribs were well cooked with a tenderness of falling off the bone. The sauce over the ribs, was not to my liking, as it...was more of a sweat based ketchup...with little flavor of a smokeyspicy taste. I am not giving a bad comment on the Ribs, as each has hisher experienceexpectations of taste. The lunch was well presented, and service was a little slow with not a lot of enthusiasm. The inside decoy was pleasing and relaxing. Would recommend a visit if in the area"

The regular beers are not all that special, but the craft beers like the 'schwarz' and the 'bock' are totally worth a try! Cuisine is typical German and 'okay'. Very friendly servers! English menus available

I had dinner at this well known restaurant during my trip to Merzig. There are some safety restrictions due to but there is a large outdoors area. The staff is friendly and the food was good Rumpsteak. Quite a big portion! The beer is...local too

There's little to fault here the food was good, the beer excellent. Service was good and the surroundings very breweryindustry. This was hearty SaarlandGerman fare my wife's paté was very good indeed. The location seemed pleasant enough and, as we were on the...way home on the Autobahn, this is wellsited the motorway exit was about a minute away. I'll be back

Only limited menu during lunch. We decided on the Nurnberger Bratwurst with Mashed Potatoes and Sauerkraut. The mashed potatoes out of the box, the sauerkraut out of the jar, the bratwurst was not brat cooked, not browned, the gravy out of the packages....Service was very slow not attentive, served no mustard and did not come back to the table until we paid. Food and service was much better years ago. Very disappointing. Not worth to come again
