"We arrived early then our booking, manage to get parking straight away, we went to the bar and were served immediately for our drinks. Later we were called to our table when it was ready. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Service was excellent the Sunday roast was to die for, well worth the price. Was only there for a meal not to use the hotel. Service: 5"

"we live approx. 15 minutes in bramdean and found this little gem due to the lockdown we did not properly explore our environment and so this beautiful pub is added to our top 5 pubs to go and dine. the location was great. many parking spaces. the menu was for choice and very local products, from their garden also. the personal was beautiful and attentive and knowledgeable, which always helps. the decor was beautiful and quirky for its name is reflected in the interior design. the actual food was presented beautifully, the portions perfectly and the taste of each teller was very good! so much so that we will be booked again about the Mother's weekend s thank you. the ship we will see again soon"

"We booked a table for 6:45pm but didn’t receive our first course until 7:45pm, dessert finally arrived at 9:20pm! The food was actually OK, but definitely not worth the wait! There was a man with a child at the table next to us and the little boy was quite distressed tired and hungry to the point his dad was ordering a pizza online just as their food arrived. There was a good selection at breakfast but the hot buffet was disappointingly cold. The staff generally were friendly and helpful and the ambience nice, but the poor food service let the whole visit down."

"Popped to Marwell Hotel for a last minute romantic getaway to visit the zoo and ate breakfast and evening meal at the lounge. Was a quiet Sunday evening and only one waiter was serving with another behind the bar, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming...and went above and beyond to create a great atmosphere, taking photos for us as we were clearly on a romantic break and taking the time to chat and joke just enough and leaving us alone when appropriate. Food was very good quality, exceptional for the prices charges, additional canapes and sorbet courses were included which hadn't been on the menu and helped really create a good evening. The entire building but especially the bar and restaurant areas are very impressive designs Cooked breakfast the next morning was lovely, my partner opted to upgrade to pancakes which she loved, I stuck to and enjoyed a perfectly cooked full english"
