"Agradable restaurante situado en una tranquila plaza en la que se encuentra el monasterio de Sant Pere de Besalú. Interior confortable , con cocina a la vista y una terraza en la que disfrutar de las vistas. En la carta hay platos de cocina casera mediterránea, amplio surtido de tapas y una variedad de paellas y arroces, tanto de pescados como de carne o verduras. Pedimos una ensalada verde muy completa y un arroz del senyoret para dos personas (paella marinera con gambas, mejillones y calamar, todo pelado y sin conchas). Muy rico y ración abundante, que nos dio para repetir, además de llevar bastante marisco. El color es rojizo. No sé cómo harán el sofrito, pero lo que es seguro es que lleva ñoras (se ven trocitos en el arroz) y bastante tomate y de ahí el color que tiene. Muy sabroso y punto de sal perfecto, preparado de una manera que no es la habitual que encontramos en Cataluña, por ese sofrito diferente. El servicio muy amable y la comida salió sin grandes esperas, lo justo que tarda en hacerse la paella, que cocinan al momento. El precio muy correcto. Por veinte euros euros por persona salimos saciados. Un grato descubrimiento en Besalú."

"Highly recommended, without a doubt a restaurant to return to. The restaurant is very nice, cozy, clean. Great service, very good treatment, the waitresses are very friendly and attentive to everything. The food excellent. One of the first, we ordered salmorejo first, D E L I C I O S O. Rabbit paella second, E X Q U I S I T A. The girl ordered macaroni and it was great! Desserts were strawberry soup and cottage cheese, scrumptious. It is a quality restaurant. Super good price and quality!"

"We arrived without a reservation on a Saturday lunchtime in July. Once we saw the beautiful relaxed outdoor setting overlooking the mountains we fell in love with the place.Needless to say they were fully booked and initially said it was impossible to fit us in but then they very graciously and kindly said we could have a table outside. We are so glad that they did. The setting is sublime, in an old church with no signage outside to say it's a restaurant, surrounded by open countryside and mountains yet a very short drive from Besalu. There is no menu, the chef came out and described about 10 starters and suggested we choose 4 for the 3 of us to share. We then chose a main each from his description. The fish croquets with squid and squid ink were perfect, mussels were tender and tasty, goats cheese salad fresh and crisp. Paella was as it should be and caramelised round the edges, the grilled meat dish included rabbit, lamb and chicken and was succulent. Desserts including a cheesecake and a tartetartin were delicious. We had water, local craft beer and local wine and bread, all included in the reasonable fixed price. The chef, Joan Quadrant is skilled and passionate about the local produce he is cooking. The 2 packed dining rooms were testament to his skill , they were so very busy but he still took time to"

"Pizzas muy buenas y originales. Recomendamos probar la de Bolocoa. También pedimos la ensalada de tomates y nos sorprendió muchísimo lo rica que estaba. El servicio fue muy atento y nos explicó las pizzas especiales que tenía ese día. Repetiremos seguro!"
