"I work for one of the major airlines, and come to Frankfurt on a regular basis. Normally we stay at the Westin Hotel which is fairly close to the Berger Strasse, and only about an eight minute walk to where Taste Of India is located....I stumbled upon Taste Of India by chance. It is a very small restaurant so it would be very easy to walk right by it and not notice it. Anyway, I just wanted to inform everyone out there that there are many Indian restaurants in Frankfurt, but I have not found better Indian cuisine than the one located on the Berger Strasse. The food is absolutely delicious. You can tell the cook to make your food mild, hot, very hot. He is very accommodating and extremely friendly. I have brought many of my crew members to this restaurant, and each and everyone of them have left extremely satisfied and extremely impressed with the food at this particular restaurant. The owner is probably one of the nicest restaurant owners that I have ever met. He makes everyone feel welcome, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is visiting the Frankfurt area."

We came at Monday evening, was only buffet but it was All you can eat in 6€ so we had a lot of food in a really cheap price but the food was so delicious... We will come visit again soon.

I wanted to have Indian dinner. went for it as it was near relatiw. at 8.30 a.m., hardly any food left. the owner was reluctant to take the order. he did what it was. vet disappointed outing. it is a small and scarier place.

Last week I had been to this Restaurant for Midday Buffet. Different dishes looked like different items doused into same generic gravy. Every single item tasted like they were cooked by Bachelors in College Hostel fried garlic onion Store bought ready fix...spices that's it. Base of the dishes were not even fried or sauteed properly. A friendly and accommodating small restaurant. Good Indian food, ample portions (all you can eat) from a tastily displayed buffet. Helpful staff, cosy indoors and plenty of room outside for quite a large group (our party consisted of 9 diners). Beer, wine and soft drinks...also tea and coffee, although I do like their mango lassi, in plenty. Top value for money, a satisfying meal can be had for much less than €10.

The problem with Indian food in Europe is that they still want to cook it European style. How ever for some strange reason the chef was told there are Indians out here and we were served some of the hottest Indian food I have ever...eaten. The bigger issue was that we were entertaining an Italian couple and poor guys could not eat a morsel. The wine list is nothing to talk about. The friendly staff and service more than made up for the deficiencies. Wish it was better.

We ate here once as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 11 years) during our trip to Frankfurt. We all ate from the rich all-you-can-eat buffet and all liked it. The dishes seemed quite authentic but there were enough...of them which were not too spicy so that the kids tasted and liked a lot of them. Furthermore we had very delicious mango lassis. I am a fashion designer and owner of a textile mills. Twice in a year me and my team visits to Frankfurt Textile Messe, We stay in hotel near Messe tower in Frankfurt. But we preferred to have lunch and dinner at the Taste of...India located at 14 Berger Strasse, Its cuisine delicious and hot spicy, especially palak paneer is delicious. Its lunch buffet € 6 per person unbeatable in Frankfurt, we are glad and feel comfort to have buffet lunch at Taste of India. The restaurant owner Mr. NEK is nice and courteous man who cares each customer about services and the way cooked. I strongly recommend for finest delicious and hot cuisine. It’s a marvelous place for tasty food.

Ran across this tiny, hole in the wall restaurant a few months ago and have been here for lunch 5 times now. Not enough! I want to come here every day. Amazingly they offer 6 vegan options, and 4-5 meat options on their buffet, plus...samosas, plus salad, plus raita, plus a spicy chutney. For 7.50€ Drinks are a bargain too, so you can really sit back and enjoy. For vegans, this place is a treat of course due to the many choices and for non-vegans, the food is very well made with excellent flavor.
