Drop in now and again and everytime is a great experience. Food is very good quality and a good selection of meals The ale selection is also very good and the staff are sound!!

The options of ales is incredible and the food is also. Dean was very attentive and helped recommend the beer. The food was delicious, simple but perfect for a pub lunch. Would definitely return.

Food and beer was really good and reasonably priced, kids was made welcome and used the pool table. Nice beer garden too. It was a one man band after the chef phoned in sick but he did an excellent job. View menu

The best pub I found in Newton Abbot for the day. Sadly too late and only time for one. Good selection of real ales (and some wine for the ladies). Hard and soft seating, beer mats all over the ceiling. I must go back sometime.

We turned up dog in tow and we were made very welcome. There is a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious (very reasonably priced) and an amazing selection of beers and ciders. We'll be going here again soon and this time I won't be driving.

4 of us wanted to eat lunch so we came here, food is incredible aswell as the beers, dogs allowed inside and the service is fast and efficient. Very friendly staff who brought biscuits and water over for the dogs without us even asking. Couldnt ask for a better little pub. View menu

We have eaten there on previous occasions and as usual, the standard was very good with an original selection on the menu. The staff were friendly and coped well with a pre-Christmas rush. Coupled with an interesting choice of craft beers, as well as a few standard choices, definitely the best choice in Newton Abbot.

My partner and I came here following the great reviews on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed! We both had the steak mushrooms with stilton sauce and daupinoise pots, all very good, the sauce with the steak is so rich and tasty along with the potatoes. Well done to the lovely lady behind the bar, very friendly and an asset to the pub.

Booked a table for us both for 8 o'clock was no problem getting it booked . Friendly staff nice and cool atmosphere clean tables ordered Beef stroganoff and chicken with ginger skilled. One with chips and one with Garlic bread.so we could share . .took a while to come. But had no problem waiting as it was being cooked fresh and hot...food was lovely very tasty and just enough to make you full but not busting will be back again as we live in Newton Abbot . View menu
