"We have rediscovered this place after an absence of several years. We have enjoyed coffee here. It has a great lunch menu and we have eaten here several times as a couple and with friends. We checked out this place for disabled-friendly access as we have a friend who is in a wheelchair; it’s now become one of his favourite places to eat. It has flat access from the car park, and good entrance and a proper disabled toilet. I’d highly recommend lunch here – it is in the centre of Cheddar the location is hard to beat."

Food and service was good, parking was not a problem. It seemed to be very busy.

Gorgeous big stylish pub. Super service. Great starters but the main dishes were a dissapointment.

Had a spot of food here with the family. It seemed expensive, but it turned out quality and worth the money.

"Been wanting to try this ‘alternative’ pub for a while. Large car park with plenty of space, no steps or slopes into the bar. Access for buggies, wheelchairs etc should be okay, my mother walks with the aid of a frame and has no issues. Inside the decor is certainly alternative but in a great way, loved it! Plenty to look at, keep you entertained and talk about as you wait for your food or just pass the time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was just one guy running the bar, taking food orders and bringing food out; I thought he needed a helper or coworker really. There is a decent bar area with seating or there is more ‘restaurant’ style seating further back beyond the bar. We chose to sit in the bar area seating which is a mixture of booth and chairs. Dogs are allowed in which is great, there is free Wi-Fi which is good as my mobile signal was very poor. The menu is standard pub food, quite a bit of choice and plenty of options for gluten free. I chose to have the fillet steak cooked medium, I had a starter of garlic bread but chose for it all to come out together. Mother had beef brisket loaded fries, the portion was massive so I had to help her finish it. The steak was perfectly cooked, I chose to have the peppercorn sauce; this was a bit watery and bland. The steak comes with chunky chips, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. For dessert I had the nutty apple crumble with ice cream, it was okay. Overall this is a great venue with acceptable food, friendly staff and awesome decor that will keep you talking and looking all night. Based on this experience I would visit again."
