"My food was good and that is the only positive note I have to say about this dump. Place looks as if someone has spray painted a jobby with gold paint. Barman was condensing and disrespected did not apologise for my friends food being brought late, rudely took away our plates when we were in the middle of a serious conversation, and had the dress sense of Simon Cowell. Will not be back in this establishment if you paid me!"

We discovered the Caley Sample Room in Edinburgh right next door to our hotel and quickly chose it as our favorite pub. The food was consistently very good, the prices were reasonable and the beer and cider were really tasty. There are always pub quizzes that are very funny and we had a great time there.

Booked tables in advance to watch the EURO opening match. The pub cancelled our reservation at the last minute and denied providing us a table. Apparently it was their booking system that was at fault. Spent the entire evening looking for a pub to watch the match, ended up watching at home. Horrible night.
