Close to the tram , had tea and teacakes , good service , good choice on the menu , nice staff , plenty of room

The staff, service, and food at this restaurant are absolutely awful. It is a complete rip-off, so I would highly recommend avoiding this place. New owners and staff are needed, as they should not be working in the hospitality industry.

I can't explain it, but this restaurant keeps improving. They have everything just perfect: a diverse menu that accommodates all dietary needs, fantastic value for the price, exceptionally friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere and setting. A visit to Scarborough wouldn't be complete without dining here.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on Sunday morning while we were staying in Scarborough for breakfast. I ordered the Energiser breakfast and it was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. My friends enjoyed their bacon and egg sandwiches as well. We would definitely come back again. The staff were friendly and attentive. View menu

I would not recommend this restaurant. I booked a Christmas party for a group of friends months in advance and paid deposit. friends were ill and could not attend on the night and fully expected to loose their deposit. We were...told we had to pay for them in full and also had to pay our bill before we could be served. We said we were not prepared to do this and were told then we would not be served and had to leave the restaurant, forfeiting our deposit. This is the worst company policy and Customer Service I have ever encountered.

Went in and asked to book a table upstairs (with sea view) for lunch. Was told the ones upstairs were fully booked so we had to go downstairs. Our table for was near the window and we were really crammed in although there were...several other empty tables that weren't reserved. Waited quite a while for our food which was disappointing. We both had skin on fries but they had loads of salt on them and also not too hot so not enjoyable. My panini was quite small and didn't have much filling. The ham was tasteless plastic ham. When we went upstairs to the toilet we were surprised to find only one table of two occupied so we couldn't understand why we weren't able to sit upstairs! Won't recommend...

Awful staff. No customer service. Would not recommend that you go here. Booked for a Christmas meal for people unfortunately in our party we're ill and unable to attend. We had already sent a deposit of so knew that they would loose...their deposit but then things went down hill big time. They asked to speak to the organiser and demanded we paid for the rest of the meal before they would continue to serve us our meal including the absentees which we felt was unfair. The atmosphere became very threatening so we all decided to get up and leave all loosing our deposits. I could go on. The service and the way we were spoken to was appalling.
