"Terrible food. Overcooked burgers, warm limp salad ontop of fried fish, peas swimming in water, crème brulee tasted fridgey . Despite roaring log fires the dining room was cold, smoke/burning smells from the kitchen filled the pub, and there was a strong smell of stale cooking oil."

weather was good, so amazing. cow calf is a popular irrigation hole with friends from Canada, a great place to know that we have good food good service with good looks to cover it all, a Canadian server also!

Portion size was very small, a total ripoff I must say they are only charging for the views, the food was not up to the mark at all, steak is way too small no mash and vegetable served. A big disappointment for the family.

beautiful environment, eat excellent and coworkers very friendly and polite. parked car and went an hour on moor and a good hearty meal and drink after our return. so the access of dogs and even our dogs were relaxed after their walk through fire.

I ordered the fillet steak. It was a meagre portion the steak was quite dry and very little salad with very few chips. Disappointed. Two other guest a ordered Risotto again quite small portions. Another guest ordered fish and chips which was good.
