"My friend and I enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast lunch here which is excellent value but huge! This would suit most people with a very healthy appetite but it was a shame that my elderly friend could not do it justice although she gave it a good go! I would suggest offering a slightly smaller size of roast dinner (price adjusted accordingly) for those with smaller appetites. This isn't a complaint, just a suggestion. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. I have only marked down the score I've given for ambience because, on a warm sunny day, it does get uncomfortably hot in the conservatory and there are no blinds."

The pies here are fantastic and we would highly recommend them. A great children’s play area outside.

Food was not good, just all dumped onto of each other, flies wasps everywhere, waitress seemed like she was doing you a favour! Awful experience…first and definitely last time.

No fizzy drinks available. No lime cordial. Bar area cold. Food was nice. Service a bit slow and we had to call several times to pay our bill as the staff were all chatting at the bar.

This is a great all rounder restaurant for families and dinner wt friends. The food is excellent and is freshly prepared with smaller portions for OAPs at a very reasonable price. Lovely garden very child friendly with offers for garden food. Friendly staff are very attentive, great service.
