"First of all I must say that the design of the restaurant is just stunning. Big space, smartly used, lots of little funky details. It's a beauty. The staff is super friendly but quite slow. My friend and I had to wait for 10 minutes just to get a menu and then waited another 20 for our drinks. That was a bit odd, since the restaurant was really empty, there were maybe 5 other tables besides ours. We actually measured the time, from the time we came to when we got our drinks passed more than half an hour. So, smiling and kind service but could be more attentive. I (vegetarian) had the goat cheese salad, which was tasty and fresh, but definitely not enough to be a main dish. It was more an appetizer (and I cant say that I eat large portions), my friend had the warm pitta with cheese which was tiny and as she described it "just plain". We ended up with a bill of 40 euros (2 dishes+2 drinks) and left the restaurant hungry. Of course this is a classy high standard restaurant, so the prices are higher than in mid-range, but I'd expect something a bit more interesting or at least a bit bigger for that price. Perhaps if the menu will have some more veggie dishes I'll give it another shot, I think the place has potential, but is not used to its fullest."

Small but fine cat. Price and quality have matched. Service was very accommodating. Only the places on the main road (open window) are somewhat louder. Tip: Sitting around the corner once more View menu

Absolute recommendation! Excellent service, well managed team. The food is just great, whether fish or meat. Price slightly higher with an average of 20-22€ per main dish but worth every cent. Come back!

the service was not interested in our reservation that had been asked by open table as we were not reported as a show. speere were partly thinly spiced and not much, eating has a long time, although restaurant is only half filled on a Saturday night. View menu

After about 6 months back to the Greek and again everything was a dream. Starting from the Wee recommendation, continue with the oktopus with fava appetizer, kleftiko main food on the Profiterol table. As with the last visit, the service was friendly, fast and always very friendly. Sandro and Ylber thank you for the beautiful evening. Ambience modern very quiet, simply a touch. really recommended for everyone. Full hit

We went to The Greek on a holiday night without having a reservation. So we sat at a stand that was free. The service was great. The wine that they proposed was very good and very good quality and the food was exquisite! I liked the fact that they brought before we even order, complementary bread with taramas and olives. The atmosphere was very nice and everyone was really friendly. The prices were on the pricey side. Probably this place is not for frequent visits. However I would go there again and I would recommend it to everyone.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
