"We visited this establishment yesterday for their first Thursday in the month Curry night. We were recommended by my cousin who's been there for Sunday roast a couple of times and commented on how outstanding the food was. I have to say it did not disappoint. The pub is a very old traditional pub with part of it still retaining its original flagstone flooring. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food extremely good. The Indian comprised starters with poppadoms and the selection of chutneys, which appear to be home-made and were far better than I have ever had in any Indian restaurant. There were two choices of main, a chicken balti or a beef dopiaza. I opted for the beef which was full of flavour, with plenty of large tender chunks of beef both options were served with a generous helping of Basmati rice and a small naan bread. We will most definitely return and I hope it will be sooner rather than later."

We visited on a Thursday evening for the Steak Night. Choice of sirloin or rump, both were excellent and tasted breed than some Ribeye I’d bought from Morrisons. Home made Diane sauce too. Cooked to perfection and served with skin on fries. If you like Steak you’ll live the Hatton Arms.

Wonderful family friendly village atmosphere with friendly staff and delicious Food. The brocolli soup was creamy as promised and very well tasting. The curry was excellent. The old building adds to the unique experience and makes it a place worth travelling for. I give The Hattin Arms my Best recommendations.

Tried this place out for the first time and really enjoyed our meal. I have the steak (perfectly cooked) and my wife had the mexican enchiladas which she really enjoyed, plus the Malbec was superb. The service was quick even though there was a popular steak night on we'll be coming back to try more from the menu. View menu

Traditional pub with friendly staff. We called in on a Friday lunchtime when it’s two fish and chips for £14 ….yes FOURTEEN pounds! Not huge portions of course but more than adequate for most people. Well cooked and presented so very pleased. Nice selection of beers available too. Well worth seeking out on a Friday lunchtime!

Lovely quaint bar area in a nice location, staff all friendly and nice Christmas meal is in the back room and lacked a Christmas atmosphere Small tree in the middle of the room, no Christmas music Initially was on a Bluetooth speaker that went off Food was nice tho and service good, would be nice if a little more Christmas spirit was added to the occasion

(28-01-23) Decided to go to my dad 's birthplace and home till the late 60 's and visit the 3 places to drink, it was empty but only 15:00 and looked great inside with low beams and an open fireplace that was set alight, my dad had a lot of old stories to tell, the landlady was ok not to chatty to be honest, a Pint of 'Rutland Osprey ' each, 3 other people came in but no atmosphere so left but it was early. A nice place to visit tho for its old interior tho.

We visited today for Sunday carvery , and I can honestly say it was the best I’ve EVER had ! The beef was cooked to perfection , the roast potatoes were clearly home made, well cooked , fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside , same with the Yorkshire pud , lofty light and crispy . No soggy bottoms here , and drum roll please the chefs special cauliflower cheese croquettes are to die for . A first for me , and the product of lockdown experiments apparently . A bowl full of perfectly cooked veg and as much gravy as you wanted …. All the staff were friendly , efficient and welcoming going out of their way to put us at ease with our sometimes reactive Labrador . Faultless . Highly recomm...

"Today we visited the Olive restaurant in Corby and I must say, it may just be my new favorite restaurant. I made a booking through their website and was provided with a recommended departure time. Upon arrival, I gave my name and was given several seating options. I chose a table by the window. We started with a bottle of Ombrellino Pinot Grigio Rose from Italy, which was a refreshing wine with notes of cherry and forest fruit. It paired well with our meals. For my starter, I had the Moules Mariniere, a classic French dish of mussels in a white wine, garlic, and parsley sauce served with ciabatta. It was delicious, though I wish they had provided a bowl for the discarded shells. My partner had the Tapas Trio, which included honey chorizo, patatas bravas, and a spinach feta parcel with tzatziki. He enjoyed it, especially the fresh and well-seasoned tzatziki. For my main course, I chose the Surf and Surf, a dish of cod fillet topped with Moroccan spiced prawns, served with new potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. It had a bit more spice than expected, but I still found it delicious. My partner had the Chicken Parmesan Pasta, which he thought was a great combination of flavors with well-seasoned chicken and balanced pasta. We were so impressed with the food and atmosphere that we decided to have dessert. We opted for the Orange and Amaretti Trifle, a layered dessert with biscotti, orange jelly, custard, and Chantilly cream. It was delicious and light, though we wished it was a bit bigger. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner experience at Olive and felt transported to Greece for a while. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: £40-50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
