"A great meal, top quality ingredients, well cooked, hot and well served. Very prompt and attentive staff. Well kept ale. The pub looked perfect and was beautifully decorated and lit. Quite a loud hubbub of noise but still relaxing as it was the sound of nice people having a good time, no music, no swearing, nothing unpleasant. Just about the perfect pub!"

Easy to book online. Shown to a table straight away. People came straightaway to ask if we would like a drink and then a little later for our food order. The food, Steak and Ale Pie, was delicious.
