Very expensive mixed grill. None of it was edible. Either raw (not rare. I know the difference) or so badly burnt couldnt get a knife through it. Left 90% on the plate. Did offer to send it back but to be honest if they were prepared to send the plate out like that, there seemed no point Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Was greeted by staff and made to feel welcome... the food was excellent we both had the belly pork with dauphinoise potatoes. very good service by all.. very good value for money and plenty of parking space in car park. What a wonderful little pub! The staff is incredibly warm and friendly, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed a delightful meal; the food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. I had the soup of the day—carrot and lentil—and it was hands down the best I've ever tasted. My son ordered the creamy mushrooms, which were fantastic, and my husband's choice of chili-loaded chips was also excellent. We will definitely be returning! View menu

We had a fantastic experience at this bustling restaurant, which was packed to the brim, yet they still managed to accommodate us. Another group of diners even invited us to share their table indoors since it was quite chilly outside. We had never met before, but this kind of camaraderie seemed typical of the friendly clientele. It really added to the atmosphere! The food was quite good as well, and the price per person ranged from £10 to £20. Overall, it was a delightful visit!

I made a reservation for my birthday but ended up running late, so I requested to move the booking. They were very accommodating. When we arrived at the new time, we were greeted by the chef, and we apologized for our delay. We ordered our meals, which arrived promptly and were fantastic. I had the mushroom pea risotto, one of my favorite dishes, and it was absolutely perfect. The service was wonderfully friendly as well. I can't give enough praise to this excellent pub. Thank you for making my evening special! Vegetarian options: The mushroom pea risotto was outstanding.

Whilst visiting the area, wanted to go out for a good evening meal. We were advised by someone working in St Austell 's Brewery, that Lanivet Inn aka Panda serves good food and local beers. Booked a table for 7pm (good that we did, as it was quite full). We were greeted by friendly bar staff and soon showed us to our table. Food was more than just a pub food.. ordered 3x starters for two of us and a mix grill to share. Food was exeptionally good and portions were more than decent!
