"After using the pub for years always calling in on sat or Sun nights for a couple of drinks after fishing sometimes 2 3 or 4 of us last night there happened to be 4 of us we asked for another round of drinks at 940 only to be told we had missed last orders without anybody warning us so we're obviously very annoyed so we moved to another local pub who served us no problem at all"

Use the tea room a great deal, either walk or usually on my cycle, great location, good food nice atmosphere, could be something out of Midsummer Murders got that sort of look. PW

Delicious pub food! This is the ideal spot to grab a drink and enjoy some comforting meals while camping in the area. I highly recommend the fish cakes and treacle tart—I'd even love to get my hands on the recipe! The prices are reasonable, and the homemade chips are fantastic!
