Had my mums 60th birthday party in the function room they have here. Was a really lovely day and Lisa and her team couldn’t be happier to help us with anything we needed. They allowed us in early so we could set up and helped too. Food and drink was great. Really recommend. Thank you guys x

Unfortunately there was not enough staff to cover the amount of customers, therefore queueing 10 to 15 minutes to get a drink, food also 35 minutes late, the staff that were there did very well. Gents toilet was flooded all night, nobody attempted to clean it, but,we made the best of it entertained by the Soul Man who was brilliant as always.

We had visited The North Star yesterday for a work Christmas Lunch. There was 29 of us, which was a lot of people to accommodate in one seating. Lisa, Maria and the Team were amazing, they catered for all our needs, rearrangements due to the snow and delivered all our meals hot. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Can't comment too much on food as I was only drinking but comments from other guests were extremely favourable. What I can say is, Lisa, Cat and the team are amazing, and can't do enough to make your visit an enjoyable one. Great outdoor seating area and spacious clean interior with a fantastic range of drinks. Well worth giving them a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed Edit..... Tried the food now and it doesn't disappoint

Visited today for the first time with my family for my sons 5th birthday lunch and will definitely be back! Food was lovely, plenty of choice on the menu and everything came out hot and tasted great. Roast dinners were thoroughly enjoyed all round. We had a mixture of the Gammon, Beef Lamb Shanks. Staff were really attentive and friendly, we had great service from the Manager Lisa. We all left happy full and we will certainly return in future. Highly recommend, Thanks again!

If I could give this no stars I would! Utterly appalled by the customer service in this pub. I used to work in food retail and as far as I was aware the customer is always right! Well apparently in this pub they are not. My friend ordered good old bangers and mash. What she did not expect with it was a good old hair. We was told that they could get her a new one or a refund I said a refund because quite frankly the fact that they thought we would eat here. Got a refund after the rude waitress had accused us of it being our hair. Safe to say I will never eat here again View menu
