Had a surprise birthday party for a friend. The food and service were excellent. Price was very reasonable and would recommend this venue. We will be back again.

We had a fantastic Christmas party meal with excellent service and delicious food. The staff were very accommodating and we really enjoyed the new farmhouse decor.

Pub looks amazing now it’s had its revamp, staff are all lovely and work very hard, Rocky served me he has very good manners and helped me with a query I had. Perfect pub for a family meal or for some drinks View menu

really good, we'll visit again when we're back in the opposite. when they had a very busy day with a wake, the workers were still happy, foods were excellent, hot and good, and they all worked very hard, despite almost every table taken.

We live just around the corner from The Farmhouse, but have always hesitated to dine there due to its poor reputation. In the past, the pub was known for its smoky atmosphere, slow service, and overall lack of cleanliness, making it a less-than-ideal dining spot.

Apart from a nice refit that’s it. The place is run by kids with little or no manners. Food is massively overpriced for what it is. Tables and bar dirty and sticky along with empty glasses everywhere. Toilets had rubbish everywhere and couldn’t wash the soap off my hands as the taps don’t work In the toilet. We both ordered the bacon and blue Burger, Chips were warm my burger was fine, well cooked. My friends burger was pink on the inside of the pattie. we had no table check, so on leaving to pay we complained, was told that it was ok to serve a burger pink inside, RUBBISH. if that was the case then why are we not asked how we would like it cooked, as per a steak. Refunded one meal. Will not return

we visited yesterday the hungry horse (the old farmhouse), after we did not there for possibly years. we were greeted with a smile and transformed into a flawless escapade. since we had not eaten there lately, the menu was explained and we were asked to pay for the cash. it was really obvious that every area was sanitary, and when we left a co-worker, we went to our table to clean it. our meal was great, and definitiw super worth. during the meal another worker came and checked that everything was in order,Can't wait to be back in the opposite, and nip inmany thanks to all the staff there.

We visited the restaurant on Friday, December 22nd. I was pleased to see that the overly loud volume of the TV has been turned down. Both of us ordered the Fish and Chips, which were very good. We tried to order through the App but it didn't work, although this was not the fault of the pub. This meant I had to wait at the bar for a while, but it was a busy Friday night and it seemed like they were short-staffed. A band started playing at 8:30, they were quite good and not too loud, so if you wanted it to be louder you could stand closer to them. The dining room was not too loud with the band playing.
