"In the past few years, dining at this restaurant has been a hit-or-miss experience. More often than not, when you come in wanting a beer, they may be out of one or more options. My first visit out of the last three was quite good, with Tribute on tap and delicious meals. This led us to return for a second visit. However, on the second visit, Tribute was not available, so we chose not to stay. The third visit was better, with a friendly female bartender and helpful server named Dan. Although Tribute was still not available, another real ale was on offer. The meals were satisfying, but the cold cannonball peas could use improvement. It would make a big difference to serve them hot. It is important to always have a good selection of real ales and to train staff to not serve cloudy beer. Overall, there are improvements to be made, but the potential is there."

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I give it a perfect score of 5 in all categories. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

The restaurant provides a peaceful setting with a clean environment. My partner and I enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The service was good, and we dined in for lunch. The price per person was £30–40. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5. We recommend trying the Merlot and Surf and Turf dishes.

The whole visit was excellent, we went for my husbands 70th Birthday and the food was great and the staff was fantastic. They really went out of there way and was soooo polite and helpful.
