"Friday 18th March we were in Sidmouth and popped in here for a coffee. We ordered two Flat Whites, which were £2.90 each. Our order was taken and prepared by Adam, an efficient and helpful member of staff. We sat at a table in the area with a mish mash of wood panelling of the former Pub, The Old Ship. There is a brass plaque on the front of the building to remind visitors of its former use. We enjoyed our coffees and our visit here, very good coffee with friendly service."

We use Costa everywhere we go. Coffee you can rely on. Quiet when we were there. Cool inside,a welcome release from the heat

Been to this Costa a lot and I’ve always had great service there. Drinks are always efficiently served and well made and staff are friendly.

Lovely old building that hasn't been spoiled inside. Normal slow service but good otherwise. Preferred the place when it was still a pub though!

Called in for my morning coffee. Building scruffy on the outside, inside not much better, carpets need hoovering and ledges need a wipe. However the coffee was nice.

I call in a few times a week with my family, on my own or with a colleague, the service is great, the staff are all lovely and it's kept extremely clean and tidy 10/10

Exterior badly in need of redecoration. Interior needs a good clean. Staff OK. Coffee average. It's such a shame that this lovely old pub is such a **** eyesore nowadays.

It needs a very good clean. The window sills upstairs were filthy and a good scrub is required. Considering the good position this is in Sidmouth it is at the moment letting the town down.

Sadly we didn’t enter the premises. The outside is dirty with broken wooden parts, filthy windows and looks uncared for. If that’s the outside goodness knows what the inside is like. No thanks.

Extremely scruffy dirty and unwelcoming from the outside. The staff are nice and usual drinks and food. Only one toilet open and that was very average. Costa really need to invest in an upgrade here with so much competition around. We won’t be back.
