"We recently visited The Plough Inn for the very first time. The pub/restaurant is very welcoming and cosy. We were seated straight away with no problems, the waitresses were very friendly. Our meal was delicious and reminded me of a home cooked meal, well worth the money! I don't understand why people are complaining about the amount of food you get, you get a large portion for a low price...don't see the problem with that? The only thing that would have made the meal even better would be more gravy on the beef pie, with maybe a wee jug on the side! Overall The Plough Inn is well worth the money and is a great place to go if you want a simple, down to earth meal! Hope to be back again soon!"

This is a smashing wee village pub/restaurant. Waitresses are efficient and friendly, nothing was too much bother. Good choice of wines and beer and good menu. Can recommend.

We booked a table here as we had eaten at lunchtime before and liked it. Unfortunately we were 6 minutes late, we were told we were too late! How embarrassing, also obviously too late to go elsewhere too so we had to get a takeaway. Humiliating and rude!

Had a family birthday dinner here tonight and I was astonished at how excellent t the entire experience was. This is a tiny wee village pub, but do not let that dissuade you from giving the food a try. It is a fantastic find and the service was also fantastic. Can't wait to go again.

Amazing food served by genuinely nice people. Beautiful Turkey dinners and Honey roast ham dinners and all under £10. Starters were shared by the group and these too were tasty and generous. Lovely cosy pub with warm atmosphere and wood burner in the bar area. A must visit if you enjoy good food and a cosy ambience.
