We had lunch here. Steak was delicious in medium rare. Fantastic food. Recommended . Parking available and pet friendly

This bar has a nice outdoor seating area. Although I didn't try the food, the interior of the restaurant was very appealing and the menu looked impressive. It would be a great choice for a special event.

We were a group of 5 with 3 dogs and were made to feel very welcome in the excellent beer garden. The food and service was brilliant, really friendly staff and good choice of food for all our dietary requirements. 100% visiting again next time we are in Cumbria. View menu

Had dinner on Thursday evening. Special was ribeye steak or sirloin steak plus a bottle of wine for 2. What a beautiful dinner. Steak done exactly as ordered and was delicious. Real value for money at £50.00 for two. Service was excellent and the restaurant was busy. Well worth a visit.

A very quaint Inn and Pub in a lovely little village. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the food was top notch! I had the Crispy Pork Belly with Chilli Noodles special, which was delicious. I also highly recommend the Raspberry Gin Brable cocktail.

The dining experience was fantastic. I ordered the sampi and it was the best I've ever had. The rest of my group also enjoyed their meals. The only downside was the lack of atmosphere in the restaurant area, even though it was very clean and well-furnished. The service was a bit slow, but the quality of the food made up for it. We reserved a room for the night on our journey to Scotland. The dinner at the restaurant was delightful and the breakfast was excellent. The owners and staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Even though breakfast is typically served until 10am, they graciously took our order the night before so we could eat when we returned just before 10am. We are already excited to stay again next weekend!

This restaurant review is absolutely amazing! We booked two rooms for our journey back from the Highlands and I am so pleased we discovered this place. Everything was flawless. The rooms were modern and clean, the beds were very comfortable (I had the best sleep in a long time). The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as we stayed with two kids and a dog. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here last week on our way down to Shropshire. Had a very nice visit. Room (5) was nice and spacious for our needs. Had late dinner due to our arrival time but the owner who was serving us was very accommodating and the service was great. Food was very good. Both opted for lamb dishes. I had a lamb burger and my wife had the roasted lamb dish and we shared a bottle of red, all of which was lovely. Breakfast was also very good here. The Full English looked a bit sparse when it arrived but the ingredients were of high quality and it was actually very filling as a result.
