"Visited recently for an evening Meal. Beer was great, same I could not say the same for the food. A member of our partly had the veg curry paid £4.95 on top of the £14.95 for the privilege of adding chicken . Curry sauce was very nice, about 4 pieces of chicken the rest was just sweet pepper....loads if it!. Not sure if boiled rice is seen as a luxury these days. cause the serving was no more than 2 tablespoons, which was ridiculous, served with a dry supermarket nan. Another dish was chicken with was described as 'tough '! the other meals were described as just OK, but none of our party would be in any rush to return. Keeping a balanced perspective the young serving staff were excellent, very attentive provided great service. Feels like something has definitely changed in the kitchen, because we used to have great meals at the Queens last year."

The restaurant experience was very disappointing. The service was slow and we were brought the wrong drinks even after explaining our order three times. The gammon was tough and dry. View menu

Despite the unpleasant weather, we had a delightful and relaxing get-together. The food was delicious and satisfying. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant had a good, friendly atmosphere and is definitely worth a visit. The name "pre Coronation" is very fitting.

The starters were barley warm On the main course the chips.were in edible so crispy they disintegrated when you tried to pick them up . We asked for the bill and then waited 20 minutes before i went looking.for someone ,found 3 staff around the till and asked again for the bill . When it came we had a five pound discount and still gelt like we paid.for something we didnt really get. Used to be a favorite place for us but now its a place to avoid. View menu

I went to this restaurant yesterday for my birthday dinner and was very disappointed with the overall experience. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant and no background music, so we could hear everyone's conversations. The young server didn't know the answer to any of our questions. The food was barely warm and the lasagna was dry and burnt, so most of it was left uneaten. To make matters worse, the young girl accidentally spilled a drink down my back and did not apologize. She just handed me a dirty napkin to dry myself off. Considering the price, I expected better service. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I doubt I will be returning.

We visited on Tuesday 4th July. I ordered the sirloin steak, my wife the lasagne. My steak was inedible, the lasage was watery and tasteless. At no point during the meal did anyone ask us how the food was. When a staff member came over to collect our (still very full) plates, I politely said that the food wasn 't great, and merely recieved an insincere I 'll let the chef know . We sat at our table for a furter 15 minutes expecting someone to come out to discuss my comment, but this didn 't happen. No one even bought the bill to us, so I had to apy at the bar, and, again, weren 't asked if we had enjoyed our meals. I left feeling I 'd wasted an hour and £60.00, and put it down to (a bad) expe...

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
