"We’d been to Chessington for the day didn’t think to book anywhere for dinner, we tried another pub down the road, to be served a drink then told about 70% of the menu was off. With a 5 year old this put a bit of a downer on our night had to find somewhere else to eat at 8pm! We came to the star and the staff all seemed so welcoming, so happy, so friendly! The food was AMAZING, atmosphere was great, my 5 year old was well entertained it made our night! Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Chessington!"

We came to celebrate my wifes birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff were all very helpful and polite and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was excellent too.Thank you all for a great night.

We had a table for 11 (6 adults and 5 kids of varying ages). The guy that took our order was so patient, he got everything spot on. No mistakes at all. The food was great, it was hot and tasty. Best meal we've had for a long time. We would definitely book again next time we're in Surrey. View menu

this was my second visit in the star and I enjoyed it very much! we did not have to wait long for a table, although we did not book that was amazing (the best crack ever with the pork! the atmosphere was warm and friendly and the service was before location a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. 10/10

I have seen this pub multiple times when heading to Twickenham for rugby games, so my friends and I decided to finally give it a try yesterday (18th). We didn't make a reservation but were able to snag a table when we arrived around 2pm. The food was delicious with a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options available at reasonable prices. The service was top-notch and we never felt rushed. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area again. I particularly enjoyed the pig and cheese burger and biscoff cheesecake.
