"I visited the pub by myself for Sunday lunch. I usually go there for drinks. I decided to try the Sunday lunch after hearing good things about it. The beer selection was great, which shows they take care of their drinks. The wine list was also very good, and I recommend the Chilean Sauvignon Blanc or the Marlborough. For my starter, I had the potato skin, which was surprisingly delicious and filling. The cheese and bacon filling was tasty, and the salsa was a nice touch. For my main course, I chose the Chicken roast, which was amazing. I also had Cauliflower Cheese, Pigs in blankets, and stuffing ball as sides, which I think are worth the extra cost. For dessert, I had the syrup sponge with ice cream, which was perfect. Overall, it was a great Sunday with good food and wine. Thank you to Noah and the kitchen team, Emma and Martin for the service, and Sarah for keeping everything in order. G x"

A lovely pub with excellent staff. A firm favourite with many. In summer it’s so nice watching children paddle in the river. Drinks are always spot on. You can tell that chips are fried in clean, good quality oil. It’s full of little touches that make all the difference.

Great lunch. Sat out in the garden. Was so nice to have a large enough table for us all to be around very rare to be able to all sit together. Food was great. Nice to have a play park right beside foe kids . Nice to have umbrellas at the table for shade. Good price for food and good portions

This restaurant is exactly what you would expect from a traditional countryside pub. We arrived in our motorhome and were able to park in their field alongside a few other travelers. The hospitality, delicious food, and friendly customers we encountered were all superb. The owners of The Swan are especially delightful. Visiting this place is simply charming. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent in a charming village setting. The chicken fajitas were delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The pulled pork loaded chips and homemade chocolate brownie were exceptional. The prices for food and drinks were reasonable, and our waitress Jess was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A Saturday evening out. All I can say is 5 stars !! One rack of ribs and one ribeye steak. The steak was fantastic. Chips, mushrooms onions and pepper corn sauce. It was perfect! The rack of ribs was succulent needless to say, there was nothing left. The deserts were also so good and all reasonably priced. The service was professional and all our needs were taken care of. Yes I will be back for another Saturday evening out !! Thank you The Swan Little Chart. View menu

Popped in here for a family lunch today after reading the reviews and also because I used to drink here over 30 years ago, so was interested to see how it was now. And I wasn't disappointed. It was just as lovely as it was all those years ago. A pub full of interest and character, and the modern day owners and staff were just as friendly as the olden days. We all had starters, mains and desserts and it was all very tasty. Look at the menu on the website for what's on offer, but there were lots of choices, all cooked to perfection and plates were cleaned! Our dog Bert was made very welcome, and that means a lot to us. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone

A gem of a pub in the Kent countryside with lovely riverside beer garden and children's play area. Always given a warm welcome by friendly landlady and staff. Had lunch and tried the new Summer menu which is very varied with something to suit everyone. We started with the Garlic Prawns in an Asian chilli sauce and the Thai duck in Little gem boats, both were beautifully presented and were delicious . Our main courses were equally delicious and again beautifully presented. The mussels were plentiful with a fabulous broth and the Rump steak salad with the Kentish Blue cheese was huge ! So full we couldn't manage dessert but had a look at the menu and there was a good choice of puddings and ice...
