"Food was fine but not happy with the customer service we received today. We took be of the ketchups and upon opening it, it exploded everywhere, all over the table, floor and my wife’s clothing. I reported to the tall ginger staff member what had happened and I just was pointed to the tissues and ketchup upon the other side of the room, I tried to explain that there was a big mess around our table and was faced with ignorance and an uncaring manner. I took some tissues back to the table and returned the out of date carbonated ketchup and she just took it and threw it into the bin without any questions or offering to provide wet tissue or cleaning stuff to clean the ketchup from my wife’s clothing, the mess was left all over the floor! We’ve always loved coming to the Tenth Hole but this experience has completely left us never wanting to return, with the prices you pay to eat and drink here you would expect a good level of service from all of the staff, everyone else was very nice but the tall ginger girls customer service was actually shocking."

A great contemporary menu together with vintage chic an gorgeous cakes. I can see why there was a queue to go in. but the day was sunny and the wait short. great service too. I'm sure we will be returning

today after lunchtime, the staff were nice and very helpful with gluten-free options available. will certainly return very soon. would be even better if there were more gluten-free cake options and even a gluten-free vegan cake option, the vegan chocolate cake looked divine. bring the gluten-free vegan version. Used to love it here but I took my son today and the food was ruined by copious amounts of cheap margarine on my bacon and Brie sandwich and the amount of marg in my son’s ham sandwich even after I scraped out almost a tablespoon full) made it inedible. No one came to ask if our food was ok and in the end we left will not be coming back.

Honestly, if you love cake or genuinely great food, go visit this place. Eat inside or out, or if you're just after cake to go, buy and leave, but beware, the choice is vast so you might just end up with more than anticipated. I personally love fruit cake and theirs is one of the best I've tasted. Give The Tenth Hole a try, you won't be disappointed.
