Has been one of my fave pubs for around 20 years, often there with my wife until she passed away 4 1/2 years ago, and was laid to rest in a beautiful woodland site less than 1 1/2 miles away as the crow flies. Last night was my first visit for a few months and with Ian at the helm it has just got better!

Great village pub with live music and monthly events. A warm and friendly family run business. Highly recommend the live music evenings and cider festivals that are held here. I celebrated my 50th birthday party here, and it was held in the garden with a barbecue for around 60 people. The food was fantastic, especially the fresh salad and coleslaw. The staff was extremely attentive and organized, making everything run smoothly. My guests and I had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this lovely pub. View menu

Have been here a few times and decided to hold a 50th Wedding Anniversary get together with Family Friends here last Saturday. There were 20 of us and the service, attention and the way they accommodated us was first class. I think everyone of us commented on how good the food and the atmosphere was. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone.

Gorgeous, characterful country pub with a fabulous landlord, friendly staff, great service and delicious food. There is a very pretty garden and a lovely play area for children, so very family friendly. In the colder months the woodburner adds a cosy glow to the charming interior and you are always assured of a warm welcome from the landlord and his staff. Fabulousl!

This pub is wonderfully traditional, with its old beams and plenty of brass decorations hanging from them. We were eager to experience an authentic country pub, and we definitely found one here. We visited for Sunday lunch when the place was bustling, which assured us we had made a great choice. The meal was delightful and abundant, with everything made in-house, including the Yorkshire pudding, which we absolutely loved. The dessert was also quite generous; I even left some chocolate cake behind. Overall, we had a lovely afternoon in this charming country pub. View menu
