"Think of your mum's Sunday roast served with warm friendly service in a lovely old pub and that's what we had today. Beautifully cooked meats, great selection of veg and crispy roast potatoes. Yes the yorkies are pretty awesome too! We also had a lovely plate of ribs which our youngest member thought were cooked secretly by Jamie Oliver! Definitely will return next time we're back on the lovely Isle of Wight."

Excellent food. Excellent beer. Excellent wine. And more important, an excellent couple who own and run the place.

As our local spot, I may be a bit biased, but this spacious pub offers delicious food and an excellent selection of real ales. It's cozy and relaxing, especially with a lovely fire in the winter! View menu
