"For a meeting with an acquaintance, this time an Italian local near Ostbahnhof was chosen, the Il Cigno translates the swan. Due to bad weather, you could not use the tables outside, but the restaurant offers a wonderful ambience inside: stucco blanket, a Vespa and many other decoration pieces. As good as all pictures and a woody spice shelf on the wall are hanging deliberately sloping. The beautifully covered tables with candle and flower as well as pleasantly damped light are also suitable for a romantic evening. I was very kindly greeted, I was allowed to choose a table by choice. The served menu mainly includes pizza and pasta, the daily card is written on a slate table that is brought by the staff to the table of new guests if necessary. My accompaniment chose the Lasagne, which was unfortunately not really the racer. Seriver on a flat plate floats it in a tomato sauce. The taste was only moderate, so from my point of view it was definitely not a recommendation. I ordered a pizza, the pizza Cigno with Parmaschinken and Mozzarella laughed at me and I was very happy with my choice. Fine taste, well covered, the soil corresponded to my taste. The pizza was neither sour nor greasy, everything was right here. Pizzen can be ordered in two sizes, I decided for small version. If you have great hunger, you should really beg the big variant. Prices are in order for Munich, my pizza cost 7.50 euros. The service was great, very attentive but not intrusive. In the early evening hours, many families with children in the restaurant were noticeable, as well as many pickups. This place was recommended to us by our airbnb host. We were not disappointed by the pizza and there was so much I had to take some home! Also had some lovely wine. We visited a second time, this time I ordered a pasta dish and my partner the calzone, the pasta was nice, but left me hungry, meaning I had a nice chocolate pud, my partner also wished he has opted for pizza again. They do have the menu in English, we were offered it the first time, but not the second, a French family next to us was struggling with the German menu so told them to ask for the English version
