"We've been in KTown for years, but never got around to dine at Zimtblute. After a great dinner, we wish we had found it sooner. It is right at the Einseilderhof exit and has plenty of seating inside. We tried their homemade sweet tea (the...best I've had in Germany); the vietnamese rolls (terrific); the kimchi (spicy, tempered by lots of carrots); the beef and onions (the savory best among the entrees we ordered); and the fried rice (lots of chopped veggies). The service was very fast (unusual for Europe) and attentive. The portions were quite large, so take that into consideration (or for leftovers We look forward to returning so we can explore more items on the menu."

Ive always liked this place. We come for the sushi and soup a lot. Today I came in for take out and had amazing service. She even served me some kind of tea as I waited. Would come back again, as always.

Fast service and good food! Greeted very nicely, sat down and had our food and drinks within less than minutes. Left another local restaurant (Thai Thai Orchidee) for their lousy service and glad we went here instead. Try this place!

Soups, appetizers, sushi, Pha, kimchi, seafood, duck.....you name it, this place had it. Good food, fast service, average prices and good tasting meals. We were a party of 10 and got our food quickly. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, appetizers and drinks; all agreed we would...return. Worth checking out. View menu

This place is delicious. Their vegetables are amazing. I've never had a bad experience in the dozens of times I've went. The staff is friendly and kind! They go above and beyond. Someone hit my car in their parkinglot and they brought us drinks outside...at no charge because it was one of those rare hot days in Germany. Honestly, place is one of the best and my go to spots. No complaints at all.

I first ate here back in and I hated it. I don't know what it was, but the food wasn't great and the service was terrible. I just tried this place again a week or so ago and it was fantastic. It definitely redeemed...itself for me. I highly recommend the sushi burrito and any of the duck dishes. I'm a little mad at myself for giving up on this place for four years. The food is fresh and the service is quick. I will make up for lost time.

It's a nice, clean restaurant. Friendly staff who spoke excellent English. But honestly, we almost left. I don't think I've ever been in another German restaurant that didn't serve alcohol. If my wife's desire for Thai hadn't have been so great, I would have bolted....They have a huge variety of dishes, including Chinese and Vietnamese. I had the Combination fried rice, and my wife had Fried noodle with chicken. They weren't bad, but not enough to make up for the lack of beer. Next time we'll go somewhere else. View menu

Those who have been to Asia understand it is hard to get good Asian cuisine in Europe. However, both the Globus and Einsedlerhof Zimblute locations produce fairly good Asian cuisine at a decent price. We go about once a month and enjoy the crispy chicken...and noodles or any of the chop Suey options. The spring roll appetizers are also fairly good. Entrées plus drinks are normally around for the two of us. My wife is Japanese so her bar for sushi is very high; therefore, we have never tried the sushi. But if you're looking for an Asian restaurant that offers a large variety of items, Zimblute is for you.

My wife and I have visited this establishment on various occasions while in the Ramstein/Kaiserslautern area as we both enjoy Asian Food. The food has a clean, crisp, refreshing taste, not heavy with a lot of oil. The staff is very friendly and accommodates to...the customers needs. The only downside to one of our visit was during the week-end lunch time. There were lots of customer with children that were loud, and running around. Best time is during the evening and through out the week night as you can have a more delightful time enjoy good food, and a conversation with the person (s) your with...without trying to compete with loud noise.

"I know a little in Kaiserslautern. But there are always new tips. And old tips. I remembered Saarschmecker's contribution to the Cardinale of 2015. “Food” has me when reading this review that I never noticed this Ristorante before. After all, I almost went to the hated-poor vocational school (as many) years ago. Central yet hidden near the Palatinate Theatre. Our car was free from 19.00 a.m., so we tried our luck in the “Cardinale” without reservation. Unfortunately we couldn't sit in the green courtyard anymore, the summer is over. Before the restaurant entrance already the current recommendations. “Spaghetti with truffles” and “Fresh mussels”. The jelly of choice! Entrance area Few steps go down to the restaurant. The historic building has survived wars. Today's building represents the rest of a farm with economic buildings. So everything is slightly angled and heats out. A very young employee welcomed us with a radiant smile. For a Tuesday evening the restaurant was already very well visited. Luckily we got another nicely covered table in the vaulted cellar. Reserves should not be a mistake. The maps were equally handed, the recommendations for the day were again written on a large wallboard. We ordered a bottle of mineral water, San Pellegrino, 0.75 l € 5,50. The menu offers pizza, pasta and Italian classics. We agreed quickly: The spaghetti with truffles € 16,90 should be for both of us. A small appetizer salad was not on the map, but the patient assured that she was not a problem. The desired dressing was requested. Mineral water was immediately and the small salads, as desired with balsamicodressing, were served shortly later. Fresh ingredients, good dressing, also freshly cut (in stock) Ciabatta. The supplemental salad was found on our invoice voucher with very fair € 2,90. fresh supplement salad It went very lively to this evening and I advised about the age of our young service staff. Could she be 18? In any case, she had a well-portioned gastrointestinal rogen that sprayed not only friendliness, but also with tearing joy and cordiality out of her. Also with the other guests. She was supported by the head of the house. In the meantime we ordered a reason alcohol-free, 0.33 l € 2.50 and Frascati, 0.25 l € 4.20. He served our pasta with freshly planned black truffles. Not the most expensive truffle (not expected otherwise), I suspect Burgundy truffles. The portion is well dimensioned and served in the deep, preheated plate. Rich truffles and what I expect to be high: here was not refreshed with truffle oil or truffle butter. It tasted pure and good, Parmesan. Simple and convincing. Not only a crispy chip as a decoration on top. Spaghetti with fresh truffles We were very happy with our choice, our evening, were well-careed. The question of whether everything is right is not lacking in the small salad or in the pasta. Despite a fully equipped restaurant, the acoustics were pleasant and not too loud. Then pay the also friendly boss Mr. Shala. EC payment to the counter without problems. To the well-maintained and clean toilets, you can go over a staircase to the upper floor, accessible to disabled people is only the beautiful beer garden in the courtyard. I'm sorry for the photos. Forgot my phone at home, had to keep my Co Geniesser's cell phone camera here. She can really nix... The dishes looked better! Next time? And certainly in the beautiful quiet courtyard."
