Good decor, place in general should have a good atmosphere. However, staff were lazy and clearly didn't care, they ran out of beer and wine and no one seemed to want to restock. Overall seems horribly managed, which is a shame because this place could have potential

Went for a Sunday dinner and it was exceptionally quiet. We were probably one of 5 tables dining with more than 5 staff waiting. We thought this would mean a good experience and good attentive service. However, the service was slow and our waiter was very forgetful, when we asked for water he came back 10 min later and didn't bring the water. The setting and food was good though! Will take some convincing to go back there.

Eating with unlimited bubbly is fast to a totally acceptable wise to spend a weekend and with so many places to choose competition to offer the hottest brunch point is heating up. for us we have high expectations on beach blanket babylon, because it is the first stop of my sister! we have fed a full day and everyone knows that they have to start driving as they want, so of course we will be with our brunch unlimited bubbly. Terrible, don 't waste your time. Place wasn 't busy, I was seated and nobody came by to take my order for 15 minutes. I saw the waitress goofing off by the bar and she finally came over. When I ordered dinner and a beer, she said that 's fine then disappeared again. 15 minutes later, I left. I hope they eventually brought the food and beer to the table...I was long gone and went to Dirty Bones next door. VERY nice and helpful next door, almost like they value their customers.

I visited beach blanket 8 years ago abd the place was dope.... dast forward 2019 and it looks like a whole different place. The class has gone out of it, the a la carte menu is not one to be envied and the standards are really bad. The prosecco was flat, the red wines tasted odd. Only positive thing about that night was the manager who went out of his way to try and make the experience a good one and with all the justified complaints we had, he kept the smile on, was accomodating and friendly. I can't remember his his name but he had shoulder lenghth blonde hair with slim body.

This place is beyond a joke. They are over priced. The staff are rude and they are disrespectful to the local area. I walked down the road that this place backs on to and they just throw all there rubbish in the street. There were boxes and pallets thrown on the pavement. They also threw ice and food on the pavement too. That is a public walkway and is completely unusable due to the lack of care of this establishment has for the public. I usually don 't complain... But very slow service, they didn 't have what was on the menu because it all finished the night before , my fries came 15 minutes after my burger. They popped to Sainsbury 's to get mint for our drinks. They didn 't have any sauces to complement the steak, glasses were dirty, my coke was extremely watered down. And the manager didn 't really want to listen to anything. Several things weren 't brought, like my friend 's salad. We were the only people in there that had any food... And after all that, most of the things on the bill were prices incorrectly! Sigh...

Similar to another review below, I also visited around 4 years ago and had a vastly different experience to this evening! I remember it being so lovely. The cocktails were great there was lots of choice. I went back this evening and it's like a different bar. There are only 5 or 6 cocktails on the menu now. I had a margarita that tasted like soap and an Aperol Spritz that tasted gross and wasn't made correctly. The toilets were absolutely revolting. To make matters worse the music upstairs was incredibly loud and at 10:30 they also started blasting music from the downstairs area too. Couldn't hear a thing so left. Will not be returning.

Avoid this place, it's terribly managed. It can ruin your night. Last time I was there for a friend's birthday. They agreed to host a group of 40-50 people, but did not care to stock up on the bottles we pre-ordered, so couldn't serve us. They also didn't have enough staff, so there was noone to take our orders. They ran out of gin by 11pm !? . All this while the place wasn't even half full. It's one thing to have bad service, but it's absolutely unacceptable to commit to hosting a special occasion and fail to do anything they agreed or even offer basic bar service.
