Very pleasant, with a small sun. The welcome was very warm, the sommelier advised us with passion. It's really nice to meet friends in such a friendly place. A special mention for the leader and his second who came to greet us and we were able to thank. An experience to renew!

All for 17 guests left on two tables I advise this place.

When you imagine as an American what a "dreamy" French restaurant would be, this is it! I have been to France many times and have eaten in many restaurants but this one is special. The location, the aesthetics of the restaurant and of course most importantly the food was just perfect. It is like something out of a Hollywood movie set but it is real. Would highly recommend if you are in this area of the Medoc.

After touring chateaux in the Medoc region it can be hard to find a great meal. Look no further than Cafe Lavinal. Although hard to find even when you know where it is in the center of this small town on the town square. If nice weather, walk through the indoor bar and restaurant to the umbrella tables outside. Food was wonderful and service professional, even when we walked out and, by accident, forgot to pay our tab. A waiter politely followed us out to remind us that our billet remained unpaid. Great spot for a multi-hour lunch.
