Great service could not be better. If you never had steak tarter before try it Mains I had beef bougioun and my wife steak and fies ,, ,perfect Desert of chocolate and mandarin sorbet was amazing We had no booking and were lucky. Suggest you book. Value for money 10/10

Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir hatten abends das Menü. Jeder Gang perfekt. Toller Service, sehr motiviert, schnell, zuvorkommend. So muss es sein. Wenn man überhaupt etwas beanstanden möchte, dann vielleicht die Tische und Stühle, die leider etwas unbequem waren. Das hat den Spaß am Essen aber nicht beeinträchtigt. View menu

It was very quiet when we got there and we chose a table by the window and grabbed a menu in English. Ordered drinks and two tartines a Nicoise (tuna, egg, tomato and capers) and a Croque monsieur. Both arrived very quickly and were absolutely delicious. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. The bill was €33 including two beers and an apple juice.

carls is a bit like the chic cafe rouge from Britain. before they go to the carls, they drink something in the bar of the Westin hotels - a great one! we went on a Saturday night to carls, the service was excellent, fish soup is a must, then I had steak, which was very good. not the cheapest and it is not a food that is covered with foam and slip, which makes a change! overall a great restaurant, in which we would like to go back. and the situation is not bad. see if they can reserve a table with a view.

Fairly disappointing place. We were waiting for a waiter for about 15 minutes, and then when one finally appeared, I did share my concerns that it took too long and we rather be leaving. Unfortunately, the waiter was quite impolite and brought zero words of excuse for an absolutely appalling speed of service. I understand the restaurant might have fired staff earlier due to Covid, but then at least have some balls to apologize in front of customers for not being able to manage your services at a reasonable level. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wir hatten kurzfristig einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert, da wir ein Konzert in der Elphi besuchten. Die Reservierung via Link hat sehr gut funktioniert. Auch der Service und die Schnelligkeit der Zubereitung hat uns gefallen. Leider wurde uns der Preis der Seezunge nicht im Vorfeld, bei der Bestellung, genannt. Das ist leider ein Punkt, der mir nicht gefallen hat. Wir wussten das ihr Restaurant etwas hochpreisig ist. Aber 78€ für eine Seezunge zu verlangen ist schon sehr ungewöhnlich. Bei der Bestellung hätte man uns darauf aufmerksam mach müssen! Alles in allem waren wir mit der Zubereitung und Geschmack zufrieden.

Vor einem Konzertbesuch in der Elbphilharmonie suchte ich Carls Brasserie auf und war im Großen und Ganzen mit der gebotenen Qualität zufrieden. Bei der Maronenschaumsuppe mit geräucherter Entenbrust war von Schaum leider nichts zu bemerken und vom Räucheraroma auch nicht viel. Die Suppe war okay, aber keinesfalls etwas Besonderes. Hingegen war ich begeistert von der Zubereitung der Nordsee Seezunge Müllerin Art , zu der sehr gute Butterkartoffeln, ein großartiger Gurkensalat und eine extra Ration zerlassene Butter gereicht wurden.
