"Overall, I found the restaurant experience to be underwhelming. It felt a bit dated, following trends without offering anything truly exciting to eat. It is a disappointment because I believe the chefs have the talent and potential to impress. The prices for each dish were slightly higher than what I would prefer to pay. The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting near Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey), but for some reason, we never visited at the right time. However, the staff was very friendly."

Never had the opportunity to visit this pub before, but I’m certainly glad I found one! Great classic pub vibe, Decor is wonderful and the pub is very well presented! Food is great and well priced for the quality, I attended on a Sunday so it was obviously slightly busier, but it didn’t make it unpleasant! Will definitely be back! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

The food is top-notch, with generous portions - my fish was so big it seemed to have come in its own trawler, and it was incredibly tasty. I would definitely recommend this establishment, as it offers a fantastic dining experience. The price per person is around £30–40, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

The dining room was very loud and had poor acoustics, making it difficult to hear my tablemates but easy to hear others across the room. The food was good, however, they had run out of the bavette for the steak frites by 7pm on a Saturday night. Our main dishes took nearly 45 minutes to arrive with no explanation or apology until one of us complained. Even then, the apology was given without any explanation. We decided to skip dessert as the mood at the table had soured.
