"After finishing our walk and feeling hungry, we planned to get takeout Indian food. However, we found out that the Indian restaurant was closed. We were pleased to discover many other dining options and decided to book a table at Derwentwater, a dog-friendly restaurant. It was a great choice despite a bit of a wait for our food, which was understandable due to the staff shortage. The service was still excellent, with just two servers attending to a full restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the prices were reasonable. We felt very relaxed and would definitely recommend this restaurant."

This is a great restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a reasonable price range of £10-20 per person. The atmosphere is inviting and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere each a 4 out of 5. I recommend trying the Fish and Chips or Sunday Lunch dishes. There is some uncertainty about the parking space, but they do offer free parking in their lot.
