"Rte familiar de tres buenos amigos que se han juntado para hacernos disfrutar de las materias primas de Cantabria y del vino!!, lo cual tambien se nota mucho en su carta de vinos. Recomendable su albariño cultivado a escasos metros del rte. Disfrutamos de una comida en la terraza de buen ambiente, servicio amabilisimo y buenas viandas."

"We visited this restaurant lately,and the minute we arrived in the court yard we were amazed by the decor and beauty of the outside courtyard, The upper floors of this building is a hotel also, we were given a tour of the rooms, which were decorated absolutely beautifully,The building itself is over 200 years old, but it has been lovingly restored , retaining a lot of the old features. The meal itself was beautiful, there were 3 in our party,our friend who is Spanish,and the 2 of us The food was beautiful, 3 starters goats cheese salad, creamed rice with chicken and prawns,and stuffed mushrooms,then main course was fried fish with sliced thinly fried potatoes,then we think it was pigs knuckle of pork so tender it fell off of the bone, and then rolled chicken with homemade fries,for desert 2 of us had Mojito sorbets, and 1 of the cheese plates, included in that was a bottle of wine and mineral water, all for the price of 45 Euro, we had an absolutely brilliant evening and the ambience and friendliness from the staff was second to none,The owner( Margot) was an absolute perfect host.We will return again,"

"Comí el domingo con mi pareja y nos encantó todo. El servicio y la atención fueron inmejorables. Pedimos un ceviche de lubina, muy elaborado el contraste de ácidos con el salado. Yo después pedí un wok con atún rojo certificado y verduras, pasado por la plancha ligeramente, superó mis espectativas, y ha dejado el listón alto. Ella pidió solomillo con patatas y pimientos, no recuerdo la variedad, pero lo disfrutamos mucho también. Por último, una muy generosa ración de tarta de queso, la cual acompañada de caramelo, helado y galleta en polvo conquistara a los más golosos. También probé un poco del bizcocho con chocolate de fuera de la carta, muy generoso e ideal para los amantes del chocolate. Sin duda repetiré. Me quedé con ganas del menú de fin de semana que viendo cómo cocinan, por ese precio es una ganga."

"Stay away here if you don 't speak Spanish ! I first asked for our reserved table in Spanish, but he didn 't get the question right, so I started in English and the first reply I get is literally in Spanish No English here . It set the tone for us for the entire evening. My Spanish is a bit rusty I admit, but he wouldn 't even try to get me at ease in this situation. We ordered 2 paella Mariano and a fish in the oven. He came back from the kitchen and he told us in Spanish very quickly that they sold out on paella. So far so good, so with the only two ! available Spanish menu cards, me and my dad had to look for something else. Since our hunger was gone after all of this I took the jamon and my dad took a variety of fried things. He came back first with a dish of jamon that could feed the entire table, followed by the fried entrances which could feed another entire table. I know it 's common to share in Spain, but he had no intention of telling us we ordered too much at that point in time. I asked in spanish which wines were white wines on the menu and he didn 't understood me, until someone at a table behind us (I guess my Spanish wasn 't that bad) told him what I wanted and he came back with oly one bottle, so no choice at all. Food was also nothing special. I 've eaten better next door and they do their best to help foreigners. Avoid at all times if you don 't or don 't speak fluently Spanish. Never felt this bad starting, during and after the meal. I don 't think I 've ever given a 1 out of 5 but this experience was well worth it !"

"Opinión sobre el restaurante y sobre el hotel. Primero, la comida del restaurante está muy bien en relación precio/calidad. La carne estupenda, el servicio muy solicito y el ambiente muy agradable. Muy recomendables las croquetas, la carne y el arroz con leche. Comimos además sardinas y ensaladas. El desayuno no está incluido y es tipo buffet. Si quieres aparcar puedes hacerlo a nos metros del hotel y vale la pena pagar unos euros y poder tener el auto cerquita. Sobre el hotel. Es un hotel pequeño, pero puesto con mucho mimo. Se nota que le han puesto cariño. Pili nos atendió de maravilla. Le pongo un 4 estrellas porque faltarían en las habitaciones o ventiladores o aire acondicionado. Aunque nos tocó una noche fresca. Cero ruidos. A tan solo un par de calles del mar. Volveremos seguro."
