Just been to the emmott arms for lunch with family and all had the best meals! Vegetarian friendly (halloumi burger was delicious and service was very good and welcoming :

Had two lunches here and the last one I have to say was the best meal out I can remember: fantastic sea bass with chorizo and pea risotto. Living quite close I'm going to have to be careful not to keep going back too often

Me and my partner visited on Saturday 23rd September for a last minute meal and were blown away by the food. We would have happily paid more for the quality that we got... Unreal! Can't wait to go back and try more of the amazing menu! View menu

Another lovely lunch here; great food, very friendly service and tasty dishes to suit most tastes. Lovely comfort food I had the beef guiness suet pudding with delicious mash and sweet red cabbage. Tasty desserts too. Can highly recommend this pub for a lovely meal.

WOW! Came to the area for.my birthday, decided to come to this pub.. even with our 2 dogs the welcome was warming! Great atmosphere, great staff, AMAZING FOOD!!!! Ordered steak, which usually I will avoid unless I know I'm guaranteed perfect! Well, just to say CHEERS CHEF!!!!!!! absolutely done to perfection! We live approx 45 mins away, I am now prepared to drive to this place JUST for the food! Thanks so much!

We booked at fairly short notice for a group of 8 for a family birthday, following a recommendation and we were not disappointed. The staff were amazing, friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The food wow!!!! Everyone in our party enjoyed everything they ordered. Good portions of well cooked delicious fresh food. We came here for dinner as it was recommended by a friend. There was a couple of large parties celebrating birthdays when we arrived and it was super noisy but they soon left which was a blessing. The food was extremely good and a good mix on the menu between pub classics and an Asian inspired menu. I love trying new dishes so for Main had the Pan Roast Duck Breast Pork Wontons, Hot Sour Broth with Crispy Noodles... We met Mike the Manager upon paying the bill and he was such a nice guy. It was Deeeeelish!! We would defo recommend and will defo return.

Passing on the way back from Skipton, fancied a Sunday roast and saw this was on Tripadvisor as highly rated so took a chance and glad we did. The tables were clean and service quick, a nice girl with blonde hair and braids served us and was very efficient. Our food arrived on large plates, not much of any one veg but it was surprisingly filling, the lamb was falling off the bone, gravy so rich and flavoursome, broccoli sweet and perfectly cooked, parsnips so sweet, the yorkshire was large and roasties crispy. This is becoming one of our favourite places to eat. This is the third time I have visited in as many months. This time to eat off the lunch menu. Great starter of well cooked perfectly seasoned wood pigeon. Just slightly pink with a selection of mushrooms that had obviously been cooked in the same pan and absorbed so much flavour. A Sausage sandwich on home made ciabatta with blue cheese and chutney. Surprisingly the blue cheese was the star. An interesting combiation that will not be quickly forgotten.
