"So we tried franky and Benny's today as it was nice many years ago when I went. The staff were friendly and helpful as my daughter has PKU so her diet is very restricted, that unfortunately is where the good part of the evening ended....The food was beyond bad, I had a bacon and cranberry Cheeseburger the bun was partially stale. The burger was so over cooked it could of been used as a hockey puck. My wife asked for a rare steak and it came back only just sealed and still cold in the centre, the ribs were so over cooked getting the meat off them needed a saw. We also got a pizza for our niece which was bland and had very little flavour. For all this and many more issues it cost and that was after they took the price of the pizza off for it being very lately served. If you want a nice meal this is NOT the place to go. I wouldnt mind paying good money if the food is worth it but when I say it was beyond bad, they're entire kitchen staff need firing. Thankfully the waiting staff were helpful and very nice but even so avoid this place like the plague."

First visit since redecorated. Place is much brighter with a more welcoming feeling. Excellent service from Alex. All enjoyed our main meals. Loved the desserts.

visited for valentine. eating was nice, cocktails were great, but the staff could have been better. not sure whether sick return as customer service is a large part of each visit in a restaurant

pink burger in stale rolls served with cold hard riders, ecle is too friendly! to say that these youngs have been long, they would think they could get a simple burger meal right, but no, these clowns avoid.

Well that’s the last time I’m going there, the lady who served us was great but the guy serving I think he may have been the manager was condescending and pompous . Anyway my oh my have standards slipped, our local f b closed...permanently last year so we travelled to this one and it was very poor. They’re using cheap ingredients and making people pay premium prices. You can go to plenty of nice places and pay less. Avoid the breakfast!!!

the new facility is bright, airy and modern. my daughter had the new and improved viva la vegan burger and I had the baked tortellini. for dessert we had the minze aero sundae and the cheesecake with salted caramel sauce (my...fave service was good as usual and I always enjoy watching the cook hard at work and they seemed in good spirits and enjoyed their job. the prices have increased somewhat, but are still in agreement with other restaurants of this type.

One of our starters was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. One of the mains was a pizza which cost undercooked and tasted poor. Looked like something you would get from the supermarket freezers for less than a pound. The...second main was a burger which cost again tasted really poor, and was luke warm. Overall very disappointed and will not be going to another Frankie Bennies. Only positive was the good service, felt sorry for the service staff having to serve this food to customers.

we were super disappointed after our first visit since Kovid. the menu has changed (the number of favorites is no longer available) the prices have risen and the portion sizes are down. no salt on the table, no serviettes and not enough cutlery (we have this...Unselves) we ordered our food including a charged hotdog for and it was a standard size bene with a very hard, chewing luke warm sausage a few chilis that thrown up. served with a handful of fries. the only visit was the nice guy who served us, but it is not enough that we want to return!

We booked for a Christmas meal out just before Christmas itself. The festive menu looked amazing, and it didn't disappoint when we tried it either. The staff were welcoming and extremely friendly, and everything came out when it should and together. The drinks were all...good, and the value was great too, there were of us, and the total was including extra drinks and desserts. The atmosphere has changed though since rebranding, and it was a bit of a shock as we hadn't been for a while. Everything is grey and not the same. Nevertheless, it was still a great meal, and we'll continue to take the kids back as it's their favourite place to eat

Decided on here as a spontaneous meal out. Greeting at the door was average, seated at our table, ordered drinks. Then came to ordering the food, my partner ordered his no problem, then I *tried* to order mine, specified how I wanted my burger cooking...(well done) but was told “it comes how it comes”. What awful customer service! If I’m eating it and paying for it, I want something cooking to my liking, which I would eat. It’s not down to them to tell me what I’m eating and how I’m eating it. The guy was incredibly rude as he said it, which made me even more frustrated. We didn’t eat here. We paid for our drinks and left. They’ve also just had redecoration done. By the looks of it, to try a...

"The welcome we received was pleasant, although not very personal, and our details were not checked, which was surprising considering how difficult it was to secure a reservation. The restaurant is not licensed, so guests are welcome to bring their own drinks. My husband and I brought two bottles of champagne, but we were not offered an ice bucket and were given standard wine glasses instead of flutes. The food was served promptly, starting with an amuse bouche of butternut squash veloute with a creamy accompaniment served in egg boxes. The chef explained the dish himself, and it was delicious. The second course, an aged rice dish reminiscent of a soupy risotto flavored with parmesan and espresso, was my least favorite. I found it poorly presented and the coffee flavor didn't come through well. The third course, a beautifully cooked lamb cutlet finished on a barbecue outside, was accompanied by flavorful lentils. However, the broccoli that came with it was plain and could have used some additional flavor. The dish was not explained to us. The fourth dish, which I initially thought was eel, turned out to be smoked eel and was served with beetroot. This was one of my favorite dishes of the night. We were served two desserts: a warm chocolate foam with orange sorbet and a deconstructed rhubarb custard with pink meringue pieces, both of which were delicious. The bill was not presented to us, so we followed the lead of other guests who left cash on the table as they left. My husband had a nice chat with the chef, and I joined in after a visit to the restroom. The chef was very knowledgeable and skilled with flavors. Overall, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of personality in presenting and explaining each dish. The experience felt somewhat impersonal and lacked interest. I believe guest interaction is crucial, so my tip would be for the restaurant to take the time to engage with guests, even if it means spending less time in the kitchen. I did not give a perfect score due to the presentation and slightly underwhelming flavors in some dishes. I believe that in fine dining, every element of the dish should be bursting with flavor. Despite this, we had an enjoyable evening and would return if we are able to secure a reservation."
