"I have occasionally returned to this restaurant over the past 20-years and have always enjoyed the reception, friendliness and attention of the proprietor and his staff, the ambience... and the food! Having lived in several European countries including Italy, and having tried many Italian restaurants in all of them, I can confirm that the catering is as authentic as you would expect to find in that beautiful country. We had a wonderful time at this cozy restaurant located in one of Bristol's historic streets. The food was excellent, especially the grilled avocados with cheese sauce - a unique and delicious dish. We highly recommend Giuseppe's and suggest booking a table in advance to avoid any wait.

Gorgeous carbonara and scallops! Came here for my partner’s birthday and only found Giuseppe’s from a last minute search for authentic an Italian in Bristol and we were not disappointed at the slightest. Great red wine selection, extremely prompt and warm service, and the atmosphere topped it all off. Definitely coming back very soon. Trying the tiramisu is a must even if you think you’re full!

I visited this restaurant with a work group for dinner. There were 8-10 of us. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The starters and main courses were clearly homemade and tasty. It was authentic Italian cuisine. However, the desserts were a bit lacking. Overall, it was good value for money, something that is rare to find. I highly recommend this family-owned Italian restaurant and will definitely be going back.
