I had the most revolting king prawn curry of my life at The Happy House Chinese in Diss. When I complained to the management, I was informed that I would not receive a refund or a replacement curry. Despite any positive reviews, I would not recommend this establishment. The service was terrible.

Can't fault the service and delivery time was as advised but the quality of the food was a very big let down. King Po was hot but not flavored, bbq ribs were not very tasty, lemon chicken was a let down and the veg curry was basically a load of mushy tinned stuff. I am extremely disappointed that after 15 years of ordering takeout from this restaurant on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, spending at least £55 per order, our order was once again incorrect. To make matters worse, the owner, Neil, tossed the missing items at me 40 minutes after the original order without even offering an apology. This lack of customer service is unacceptable after being loyal customers for so many years. We will not be returning to this restaurant and will not be recommending it to our friends. The owner's arrogant attitude was truly disappointing.

My wife ordered the chicken in yellow bean sauce with cashew nuts, which was gluten-free. She also got rice noodles. She really enjoyed her meal. We had previously ordered a similar dish from another Chinese restaurant nearby, but it was inedible because they didn't listen to my wife's dietary needs. I can say that at this restaurant, they carefully listened to her allergies and prepared exactly what she needed. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to all the staff, we will see you again soon.

I called to place a takeout order for pickup, left my name, and there was another person with the same name scheduled to pick up their order at 6:30pm, while I was scheduled to pick up at 5:20pm. The person scheduled for 6:30pm arrived early and mistakenly took my order. They returned with my order after realizing the mistake, and the staff offered me their food since they had taken mine in error. However, I declined as I preferred to have my order freshly cooked.
