"We went to the restaurant for lunch and tried to enter a room near the bar as there were no available seats in the bar area. However, we were told not to go in there without any explanation. As we were about to leave, some people vacated their seats and we sat down to look at the menu. Shortly after, someone informed us that it would be a 45-minute wait for our food and then left. Disappointed by the lack of customer service, we decided to leave. A tip for the pub staff: customer service should be a top priority in the service industry. Please take note."

Locals pub that is dog friendly. Packed at the weekend especially if there is football or rugby on the TV. Nice place to relax and warmup on a cold winters day with a pint or two.

Just dropped in for dinner. A nice character building and welcoming staff but quite quiet this evening. This restaurant is more reasonably priced than most in this very touristy village. My bass with goats cheese and orange salad was superb, my husbands steak was excellent and the caramel and chocolate cheesecake devine. View menu

We hadn't booked a table but they were very accomodating. Basic Pub food, i had the scampi and chips which was very nice. If you are visiting Broadway, this is probably one of the cheapest of places to eat, great food at a decent price. Only gripe we had was there were some children running through the restaurant, but would certainly eat here again.

The restaurant has a clean and comfortable atmosphere, with friendly staff. The beer, wine, and food were all very good, just as described. The towels were a bit small for my liking, and being located above a pub was expected. If you prefer a quiet environment over the bustle of the High Street, this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, it is a lovely spot to enjoy a meal.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon about 15:30 to watch a Rugby World Cup semi final. Asked if we could order a sandwich no, we not serving food until 6 o 'clock! Ladies toilets had no soap or warm water. Did have a few beers but partner was driving and wanted a coffee. That request was met with a shrug and if you really must I 'll boil the kettle and make you something. If we hadn 't wanted to see the match we would have left to find another venue. View menu

A character pub set in a Cotswold's Market town. Found staff/owners friendly, but on the day we visited very busy. Beers are well kept and pulled, we had a Sunday dinner in the diner side which had a lot of historic character. Service was a little slow, but then they were very busy. Food was well presented, but would have liked a little more veg, however that might be perceived as being picky! I would come again as its a classic Cotswold's pub that knows its beer.

I went to this restaurant for a family meal and waited over an hour for our food. It was unacceptable as the restaurant wasn't busy. Five other tables near us had the same complaint. The chicken was like a flat piece of rubber in breadcrumbs, when we expected a proper chicken breast. They offered us free sweets, but we had to wait 30 minutes for them. The staff was very rude when we asked how long they would take. The management and staff need to be sorted out if this restaurant is to succeed. We will never go back to this place.
