This restaurant is a delightful dining spot. The food and wine selection are both top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian pasta dish, it was very flavorful. The sticky toffee pudding was excellent as well. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very good.

I have visited this restaurant numerous times before, but recently stopped by for just coffee and cake. The atmosphere was very quiet, and I enjoyed the coffee and carrot cake. During a previous visit a couple of months ago, there was a deal being advertised. I inquired about the deal when I placed my order, but when it came time to pay, I was told by a male employee that there was no deal and I needed to pay full price. After some discussion, the female employee admitted that she had mentioned a deal and ultimately gave me the discounted price as originally promised.

We recently had one of the best meals in years at this restaurant. As a family of four, we ordered three different steaks and a large portion of fish and chips, and each dish was cooked perfectly. The chips were the best we've had in a long time. Our starters were delicious, including a rich pate, creamy burrata, and tasty beetroot falafel. The wine selection was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant is located in the lovely town of Ballater and is a great place to treat yourselves after a day of exploring the hills.
