"We arrived in Blakeney and spotted the Kings Arms. We fancied a pint. We saw the landlord outside who was holding a ladder. He made no effort to speak. My partner asked if the pub was open. The landlord said it was closed for a week and it stated this on all the doors and windows, in a very brusque manner. It clearly pained him to speak to us. Therefore I apologised to him, for having to speak to us. We went on our way. Around the corner we spotted the Blakeney Hotel. We sat outside on the terrace with our dogs and enjoyed a pint and delicious sandwiches with lovely service. It was a relief the Kings Arms was closed. I would like to thank the landlord for being so utterly charmless, so we won’t bother him again on our next visit to Blakeney."

I had delicious takeaway fish and chips while overlooking the marshes. The meal was great value for the price and the staff were friendly and attentive to my friend and me.

Nice pub for lunch, we had fish and chips x 2, grilled gluten free fish and chips, chicken special, lovely food, courteous and friendly service, super draft beer, reasonable prices, well commended

Had 2 meals here during a week in Blakeney. Service is good and friendly. Food is OK, but quite pricey. If having fish, choose something other than plaice, which turned out to be a large piece of batter and very little fish.

Miserable staff and cheap sandwiches made with cheap supermarket bread margarine and a limp salad on the side. Cooked meals looked ok but sandwiches were very expensive cheap and would not recommend to anyone. Will not go back as surly staff made it unpleasant to be there.

My family and I had a very disappointing dinner at this restaurant. None of the 6 meals we ordered were enjoyable. The peas appeared to have been sitting all day, the mushrooms were overly watery, and the ratatouille was basically a can of tomatoes with a few pieces thrown in. It was not a cheap meal either.

This is a lovely pub, with a nice outdoor area and is a dog friendly place. The menu has a good variety of dishes on it and is a decent price. The food itself is very tasty and you get plenty. There is a good selection of beers and served with a smile from nice staff. This is an ideal place to end a nice day at the seaside.

Miserable unsmiling staff, both bar staff and waiter poker faced bored looks and no smiles. Sandwiches comprised thin white bread like 20p value loaves with sparse filling and served with squashy Tomatoes with tough skins, For £8.50 expect better. Disappointing and very poor value, won’t return. I expect most customers are one off walkers so why bother,

During our week-long stay in Blakeney, we made sure to visit the Kings Arms every day as we have been doing for the past 35 years. The food is consistently delicious and they offer a great variety of beers. The pub is always clean and the landlord, Nick, along with his staff, are always friendly and polite. We highly recommend stopping by for anyone passing through or staying in Blakeney - you won't be let down.

We live in Norfolk and, whenever we have visitors we always bring them here as we are all assured of a wonderful experience. All the staff work their socks off to make you feel so welcome (whether you're a local or a first time visitor). Today was no exception as the beer, food and ambience was first class. It will soon be mussel season and also their gorgeous chowder will hopefully be available. Already looking forward to my next visit.....
