Lanterna - Menu

beautiful meal in the lanterna, for the first time for my man and me, eating was excellent and rachael was the perfect host! I can recommend the monk fish that was delicious! we'll be back soon.

we both enjoyed everything about this place. the atmosphere was beautiful, the personal pleasant and the eating was excellent. that is not a cheap restaurant, but as they say, you get what you pay for at least in lanterna

This is my third time to the Lanterna and it is always a fantastic dining experience. The menu is divine and stems from the head chefs origins in Northern Italy. If you want a unique dining experience with no 'pizzas or lasagnes, ' then this is the place to go.

absolutely fabulous, very few restaurants you can say that every morsel was perfect, but that was, plus the owner, his wife and her sister made all so welcome, a few was early one was late, the owner woman was positiw charming! we had both baby dover outsole to start, perfectly cooked

wonderful food, freshly tasted from the ocean. we were grilled on the seafood specialties and were brilliant. the house white was breathtaking. the service was nice, the gastfreundschaft was fantastic, probably as good as it gets when it does not harass through lack of siblings, but believe quality beats style.

they believe the hype! it is for ever and a day there, super hard to go a table as it is only really one sitting, but that is worth it. it is old-fashioned in a wonderfully charming wise, really friendly staff, and eating was as good as I hoped that a fish special star of the tempoura broken ling was especially good.

We have been before and hoped it would live up to our memories.... it did. Amazing, perfectly cooked seafood and great friendly service. Zabaglione an extravagant and not to be missed treat. We've not been out much in the last months and the careful...distancing and measures in place were reassuring. Quiet, friendly, intimate place, something to be treasured Scarborough!

Excellent hosting. Lanterna is a special rarity. Typically real Italian decor and furnishing, simple and not overly fussy. Fabulous cuisine. Good cooking is taking top quality raw materials and working a magic into them. This place delivers class and quality in spades. Book well in advance. We were lucky on a fortunate (for us) last-minute cancellation. Lanterna's reputation means they don't struggle for customer's, and rightly so. For a very personal and authentic Piedmontese dining experience, try this at least once in your life. Just don't expect Pizza and Calzone.

First time here tonight and have no idea why we waited so long to go. Lovely welcome from friendly people, drinks and aperitifs were on the table very quickly, the staff were very attentive and happy to help. The food was sublime, freshly cooked and well presented. I had monk fish in a lemon and pink peppercorn sauce, fillet steak strips in a gorgonzola sauce with red and yellow peppers with fresh seasonal veg and chips followed by the meringue with ice cream and cream. OMG i have not had such a good meal in a quite some time and we will be back sooner rather than later to try the rest of the menu. Great atmosphere too.
